Haven't noticed any adjustments on the rate of decay either, is still about 0.152/hour.

Would be nice to be able to use the "leftover" credits to buy packs indeed :) I've "collected" around 250K credits so far...

Nice of BioWare to lower the price point tho... the first upgrade gave me 0.5% bonus on the "long" missions, 500K for that (raking on average 16875/day was like 30 days of "savings")... bit steep me thinks :D

Also if they had the same proportion in mind...

1st Upgrade 500K 30 days
2nd Upgrade 1.25M 75 days
3rd Upgrade 2M 120 days

Time to complete upgrades... 225 days deploying the fleets three times a day on the long missions...

I did play FFXI for 5 years, which means I do have a masochistic streak and a high tolerance for daily repetitive mind numbing activities, but that may have been a bit too much for 1.5% readiness bonus.

Even without the Galactic Command thingymabob it is possible to reach 100% readiness (once all the "cheap" upgrades have been completed) within 3-4 days easily using the "short" missions so what would have been the point apart from sheer masochism?

Can you just get rid of the decay factor? The app progresses slow enough as it is.

I don't have broadband for my 360. If I got my overall readiness up to 65%, and I brought my 360 into work to use the Internet there to update the level in the game while I was online, would it remain there once I disconnect? Would it work back down? Would it just reset to 50% without an Internet connection telling it otherwise?

No point wasting time with the app if it won't be good for my situation.

I can't speak for how the 360 version works, but on PC, your readiness rate doesn't seem to decay while offline. It just stays at whatever readiness level you last updated to - mines been 91% for the last few days since and hasn't changed since I updated it.

The *only* reason it seems to go back to 50% is if you manage to get Origin into a panic where it isn't sure whether its online or not (alt-tabbing repeatedly seems to do this), but its easily fixed just by going back online again - and it isn't even relevant to 360s :D
