I did not like the ending in mass affect 3.
To say to a million customers This is how I wanted it and things are not going to chance is wrong.

This is not a game.
This is a 80$ non returnable product.
You should have more consideration for your customers that you have asked to invest 6 years of game play and emotion into building a hero character.

You could have called this game  "EVERY BODY DIES 3"
First SWTOR and now MASS 3
Please keep listening to your customers.
Bio is to good to fail.

Better to just call it No Effect.

Casey Hudson wanted a "Inception"-esque ending that provokes thought and interpretations. That actually would have been OK by me - except he screwed it up.

I think the arrogance and "know it all" attitude displayed by Bioware staff is what has shocked me the most not the lies about content and the unbelievable stupidity regarding their fanbase.

No problem though I wont be buying the game until it's fixed and if it isn't hopefully someone out there will be able to make up a mod even if there aren't any voiceovers it wont really matter.

As you head off back to the Canadian fleet spare a thought for poor souls like myself not allowed on the ME3 forum because we haven't bought it ( nicely sneaked in before release wasn't it ). Who knows how many posts you'd have had without that sleight of hand I guess they didn't want an I'm not buying it unless thread started !

I havent felt this dissapointed/steamrolled by a game company since Star Wars Galaxies "introduced" the NGE...

Its like not only did Bioware dropped the ball, but then they picked it up, passed it to the other team and carried them to their goal...

5 years and un-addable hours of gameplay with my shepards interaction with companions and factions of the universe, 6000+ assets yet completely negated into

Choice A: Destroy the Reapers, You Die
Choice B: Control the Reapers, You Die
Choice C: Merge everything, You Die

I couldnt stomach that if I had to make myself to, but then they didnt even give us any conclusion for anyone, apparently my crew magically teleported off the planet and flew away on the Normandy with Joker while i was fighting to the beam, even the two who were running with me to the beam... o.O

I know all about the un-addable hours I've got quite a lot of Sheperds sitting in the collector base at the moment, they were all set to go on the rampage but they're just going to have to wait. If a game ending can p**** someone off that hasn't played it then it must be really bad for someone that has you have my sympathy..

And before anyone starts saying how can you criticise something you haven't played and how good all the rest is I've seen all the endings and read a lot of reports etc and nothing about the ending looks good and no it's not the journey that makes it when everything you did en route was pretty much pointless it all finishes up out of control and you just run out of road and drive off a cliff.

All the ME1 and ME2 choices basically don't mean anything. All those hours and all those Sheps are pretty much wasted given the conclusion to the series. Had a few playthroughs I was lining up for but they're scrapped now.

Now Bioware is giving us the silent treatment. I can't imagine the amount of damage being done to their reputation.

The thing is how many variables are there that would really have to be dealt with ? It might seem like a lot when you play but I don't think it's impossible to make completely tailored endings..

All minor events could be dealt with pretty easily eg. nice to Emily Wong yes/no if yes then she gets a one liner at the end next to her picture " and Emily Wong went on to...." etc.

Who was your LI ? Whoever it was just a quick cutscene holding hands looking at the stars right at the end and job done you've already got the models just bung in a background and off you go.

Give somebody a week and a piece of paper and they could have done a flow chart for every possible outcome then maker some pretty pictures and a voice over about what happened that would have covered it, nothing too flash just simple but conclusive for everybody. If you focus mainly on major events and their effects it's not so many to calculate.

Did you save the Rachni.. Yes What about the Geth Yes " the rachni found themselves a place to sing their songs but the Geth weren't too happy about it as they were neighbours but they soon learnt to get along". If the Geth are wiped out then the Rachni just found a place to sing their songs.

Check the Paragon Renegade meter if you've filled it up you get another choice at the end, now that's not hard either. This really should have been the deciding factor and full Paragons/renegades coming through from ME1 should have got something spectacular adding to replay value, as it is now I can't see there being any at all.

The finish to the "product" that is Mass Effect 3 is from what I can see just damn right lazy and an example of people trying to be clever but ending up looking stupid. No wonder people are upset and the longer that Bioware stay silent the more damage they are doing to themselves.

Not ME2 related.

End of line.
