I have an Adept with Heavy Warp, Heavy Singularity, Bastion, Squad Warp Ammo. I'm definately using Tali with Heavy energy drain and evolved Combat drone and my question is which would be a better third squad mate Miranda or Thane, they both have heavy warp, Thane uses Snipers as opposed to pistols, but Miranda's passives help Tali and myself more than Thane's. I don't plan on using Miranda's area overload as much since there's so much armor and barriers with the collectors and not so many sheilds. Besides I want to use Tali's Drain on shields anyway to help he tank some damage when I need to change positions.

Are you talking about the Suicide Mission? You can bring whoever you want, but since no one has shields on that mission, Tali is not that great unless you are really fond of her (crappy) Combat Drone. As an Adept I prefer Miranda and Thane, but I always roll with Miranda and Thane as an Adept whenever I can. Since you only see Barriers and Armor on the Suicide Mission, anti-shield powers are nearly useless (rank 3 Overload will overheat enemy weapons).
Unless you plan to shoot a lot enemies who are floating in Pull or Singularity, Warp Ammo is not that great in my opinion, and you can ditch it in favor of other skills such as Pull or Throw. Just my opinion, though.

I totally agree. Tali is of limited use in your squad, especially because she has better things to be doing... However, you can certainly beat the mission with her as a squaddie.
Thane is a good choice with Warp and Throw. Miranda is also pretty solid. With both of them you could blow up the entire base with Warp Bombs alone.
If you want someone with a little more combat prowess I like Legion for his Widow and so he can sic his drone on Harbi. Of course the best anti-Harbi squaddie is Kasumi with Improved Flashbang. She is therefore another decent option.
That's about it. I have taken many of the other squad members on my team, but Miri, Legion and Kasumi are probably the ones I went to the most for later playthroughs.

I'm trying to keep Tali in there for RP purposes, but thanks for the advice I'll probably keep Miranda as opposed to Thane, I'll probably also keep Squad Warp ammo not necessarily for myself but just to have an ammo power for my squad mates I use Barrier early on but don't really use it or any other bonus power in the late game.

Unstable Warp is better than Heavy for squadmates, as it has a shorter cooldown.
Jack and Samara/Morinth can also contribute to Warp bombs with their Pull. Both have CD reductions with their passives so they're among the best choices for an adept. Jacob has Pull too, but no CD reduction.
