Just watched a new episode of Watchdog in the UK and there was an article relating to EA servers and connectivity problems.

It was regarding FIFA 2012 and customers who had paid for DLC, but were then unable to redeem points earned to use while playing the game because they couldn't connect to the servers or that the servers would disconnect whithout warning. One guy spent about £100 on content that he was unable to use.

EA did respond to the issue on the programme and said they sent a fix, but that still doesn't explain all the other problems people are experiencing when try to connect to their servers for other games. I still haven't been able to authorise 'From Ashes' for Mass Effect 3. 

Anyway, I've now emailed the programme myself, explaining this issue and that many of us can't even play Mass Effect 3 because the servers won't connect and hopefully they will be able to get some answers.
