I kind of agree with the possible negative implications of this. I think bioware needs to do a lot of clarification for the ending. But if there is a DLC fix, either paid or free, and we, as fans, used to be fans, and consumers go for it, it would send a message saying game makers can make incomplete games and the players will buy DLC to see the end.
That boat sailed a long time ago. And it could be worse, they could go all Hollywood on us and release ME3 part 2 as an entire separate game, like freaking Harry Potter and Twilight. Fallout 3 already changed the ending with a DLC. BioWare wouldn;t be settign a dangerous precedent. It's been done to death. They just be fixing a mistake. And possibly regaining a lot of lost customer loyalty.

I would rather restart my Shepard
and play through 30 hours to get the ending he deserves. I was planning
on replaying anyway before I beat it the first time.
Same. When I heard Rana Thanoptis killed a bunch of military leaders, I was getting ready to replay all 3, just to change some decision I never really payed attention to. Then everything got recolored 3 times, and now I don't. I'd pay for a new ending that gave the game it's replay value back.
