Simple: Not buying it. Same for future BioWare games. They've gone too far. Especially with what lies they told before the release in the media and what is to be found in Final Hours(see sig for 'great' example).

This.

Call us petty, we don't care. We deserve better.

If next dlc isn't ending, or if by the time its out they havent announced future ending dlc, I quit.

I'll stop coming back here, I'll delete bioware games from my hard drive and i'll just go play skyrim or something.  I'll be pissed, I'll be depressed, I'll be heart broken but I'll also have lost all my patience and will to keep voicing it.  I will quit.

If they don't address the ending I will just hold onto my cash, never buy a Bioware title again and do something nice and constructive until GTA V comes out which wlll show the other games companies that if you want to tell an epic story you shouldn't deliver a rush job.

Also the time that I won't spend playing ME3 DLC I will spend replaying Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Because in a weird way ME3 shows what a decent game DX:HR was.

If the first DLC is just map/weapon packs, I could probably let that go as them just pushing that out since it's simple and small. After that however...

"Huh. I guess that means there won't be any kind of ending address. Not that I expected more I suppose. Well, to fanfiction I go."

I've never been all out angry regarding the ending though. I've mostly just been disappointed in Bioware.

It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't ending DLC first. Arrival was at the very end of the ME2 storyline and also the last DLC to be released for ME2. It only makes sense to be a bit chronological about it... unless they're planning on two or more post ME3 DLCs.

Just to add my own opinion though.  I think I would be much less inclined to buy something that doesn't take place post ME3 storyline.  With an ending like that I'm far, far more interested in what comes next.

With such a pointless ending, I wouldn't have any motivation to buy DLC; the significance of the contents will be invalidated by the time credits roll.

If it doesn't change the ending. My reaction would be complete indifference, whats the point after all?

It would be like throwing gasoline on an open fire.

They would have to at least announce the ending DLC would come after.

I'll start a few new topics about this on the forum, maybe a poll, play some TOR and probably get the DLC depending on what I read about it.

I can no longer see a positive spin on this with some dlc that offer something different to the ending. The damage this has done to their rep is undeniable crazy, however you look at it.

And their silence is them holding a shotgun and continuously shooting that foot. =/

I'll probably read about it, but definitely won't buy it. As with DA2, I'll ignore all DLC.

What's sad is I see this happening. They'll continue to say they're still listening to our concerns about the ending while working on pre-ending DLC. Then they will release it under the ruse that they are still listening to us about the ending, hoping that we'll just buy their DLC in the meantime.

Obviously I'm still here because I have hope that it will turn out otherwise, but hoping =/= expecting.

I have no expectation that it will do anything about the ending at all. Nor will I care, 10 (or more) extra dollars in my pocket for other (largely more productive) things.

The only DLC I would bother with is one that allows for the "happy ending" that everyone wants for ME3 (and is indicated by the themes established in ME1/ME2).

I have less than zero interest in multiplayer.  I suspect that the number of people who are interested is relatively small.  No idea at all why Bioware sunk resources into creating it.

I would buy a ME3 Ending DLC, only after a "Truth DLC", or a DLC which comes with some sort of a garanteed futur free DLC that would properly end Shepard's journey. It would have to be a legal document that would obligate them to do so, or reimbourse the ME3 DLCs bought.

Even if a new bioware game comes out to community acceptance with good endings?

But to answer the question, yes , I would buy it if it looks good.
