Simple: Not buying it. Same for future BioWare games. They've gone too far. Especially with what lies they told before the release in the media and what is to be found in Final Hours(see sig for 'great' example).

Simple solution: wait until the game releases and then decide to buy it. That way you won't have paid for any broken promises, and only pay if the game is actually good.

If it doesn't have some sort of revelation related to the ending, I'm not downloading it. Flat-out nope. That would be like giving someone a hug and saying "It's okay, I still love you" after they've repeatedly kicked you in the nuts on purpose.

Be sorely tempted to buy it if it WAS Felicia Day dlc, slap myself, and not buy it and watch the Guild instead.

I'm not buying jack if it's just dlc that takes place before the inevitable railroading

Yes! I love preemptive reactions to something that may or may not happen. I am going to say, yes, I will purchase it and will probably still not be satisfied.

Yep, not buying it. Ending DLC or nothing.

I've bought and enjoyed every BioWare game up to this point, and Mass Effect 3 might be the last game I buy from them.

No dlc, I just get the feeling that nothing will be done, there has been no real response about any of the issues or concerns, so far a big old wall of silence.. even an offical post to give us some idea what they are thinking/doing would be good at this point.

Well, you raise a good question.  If the *next* DLC to come out isn't about the endings, there's no way I'm buying it, but I'd hold off on further actions.  There may simply already have been other DLC in the pipeline slated for release, and they may want to release it on schedule: a reasonable plan.

Then, too, given that they are still hoping against hope that we here are some aggro minority, they might want to see how well that DLC sells.  I think they're in for a nasty shock, but it will be a nasty shock that does them some good.

I'm more concerned with their reactions to the non-vitriolic concerns. There are a lot of unanswered questions that the ending created. Leaving the reapers somewhat mysterious and even the true nature of the catalyst mysterious, is a good thing. Leaving Joker's Wild Ride dangling out in space (quite literally) wasn't acceptable given that he shouldn't have been trying to leave the Charon relay at all after your final conversation with him and his standing orders were otherwise. All they needed was some exposition on why he was there and what he was fleeing.

Some explanation would go a step in the right direction, some added lines would go a mile. I'm not too concerned with new endings, only answers to the ones we have.

Not buying anything ME related if it doesn't improve the ending. The franchise is dead to me until Bioware decides to resuscitate it.

I'd think that if they actually do fix the "endings" at some point, I might come back and take a look at it. If not? No way am I going to buy it.

They cant just patch over the core events with a DLC.

Only way I could see them doing it is if they installed a choice before going to the final mission that can send Shepard on a different course of events.

I could muddle through multiplayer and stopping at Cerberus HQ until the ending was released if I knew it was coming.

I don't expect the next DLC to be about the ending, they haven't had time to work on that yet. If they release a new ending they best be sure it's not cheaply done.

If they never do correct the end, honestly, not only would I never buy anything from Bioware again, I would actively work against them. I have convinced half a dozen people to buy into the Mass Effect series. If this ending stands after I have put my name behind their franchise...Well, that is a critical business failure.

I've never been this emotional about anything video game related before. The experience has been... interesting.

That said, if the first DLC is anything but some sort of ending amendment, addition, replacement, Bioware is done in my eyes. I supported them through all of their dogsqueeze in the past, but that would be it. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way, and I don't believe that they know just how much of a ****storm they have caused here because some "artist" wanted to independent film up the damn game at the last minute.

Bonus seething points if the first DLC is some sort of contrived multiplayer addon garbage. I might cut off a finger and write them an awful snail mail with my bleeding stump. The details of said letter will also include how even if I wanted to, I couldn't give them any more money 'cause now a hospital is getting it all.

Go go gadget senseless bloodrage.

I see no point in buying dlc if the endings stay as they are that's just wasting money.
