So, after completing a game, I have been able to buy a specter pack, so I did it, it's said that I should try later because of connection problem and I've been kicked out of my game and unable to join/create anymore.
So I disocnnected Origin and came back and I lost my 60k credits but no items......

Guess it wasn't related to my other problem after all... though that means the code itself is buggy then.
Edit: and good luck with EA support, I just got canned responses asking me for my Bioware point order number and telling me to clear my browser's cache.
