Hi there,

Right I'll put this into the simplist way I can:

- I have an xbox
- I brought the Collector's Edition and have all the DLC from it (N7 gear, Prothean etc)
- Girlfriend buys standard edition and plays it on her Xbox
- Girlfriend brings round her save of ME 3 and puts it on my Xbox.
- In it she recieves emails about all the Collector DLC that I got and is on the console.

Now my real question is; Can she access it and still be able to play the game back on her No-DLC Xbox, or will the game require her to download it? 

She can do the Prothean mission on my Xbox, but how will that affect her game for when she plays it on her Xbox with no DLC?

if she does the dlc mission or uses the dlc weapons on ur xbox she may not be able to play it on hers unless she gets it (if i can recall the same thing happened to me but with me2) with me2 my friend couldnt uses his becuase i had a dlc gun which was added to his armory

That's what I thought. But she isn't using the DLC weapons and hasn't started the Prothean mission. But both have registered within the game.

Will they be required for her to play back on her console? Was thinking of signing in on my Gamertag on her 360, download the content on there so it is there just in case.

That won't work dlc only works on one Xbox, you can transfer the licenses so she can but then I don't think you can and you can only transfer licenses once every 4 months

UPDATE:

I deleted all DLC from xbox and tried loaidng up the Gf's game save, she was unable to play it without the "From Ashes" DLC. Even though she hadn't started it at all and only got the email about Eden Prime.

I have the opposite problem, I am trying to get the DLC to work on a seperate profile on the same xbox

I'm afraid she'll have to get the items. I've had this problem with my brother and ME2. He played his non-DLC game on my DLC Xbox, and it kept telling him his save was corrupted when he tried to play it without DLC.

It's either she gets the items or she starts a new game without the DLC.
