The problem I'm seeing is that either slam specifically, or kinetic damage in general, is not working properly or consistently in ME3. When I use slam (fully maxed out and damage bonus focused on the tech tree), frequently even with a clear impact on flat ground, I'm getting absolutely no damage to enemies - cerberus troops, canibals, even husks on occasion - which shouldn't even be possible since any other airborne ability kills them straight off. Other times it will be a clean kill, and sometimes they will only take a little kinetic damage, and that off the second bounce, not the slam itself.
Is it just me, or is this bugged? Did I just have better luck with it in ME2? Or am I one of the only people who still uses this power over pull?
Nor does it logistically make any sense. Watching a cerberus guy get smashed head first into the ground then get up with full health and start shooting me is just a little messed up.
