As with the others, you push the panel downwards. It slowly descends until you hear a perceptible *click* as the top of the panel becomes level with the ground.

“Against impossible odds, Hooves took the best among her temple and journeyed deep into the heart of darkness itself - The Lair of the Lady. Although the Lady of Pink sustains her throne, the rule of tyranny cannot endure without end.”
As with the others, you push the panel downwards. It slowly descends until you hear a perceptible *click* as the top of the panel becomes level with the ground.
“Through her teachings, we become closer to her in spirit. Through *knowing* that harmony and discord are two sides of one world, we may achieve balance. One cannot have harmony without discord. One cannot have discord without harmony.”
You push the final panel downwards. It slowly descends until you hear a perceptible *click* as the top of the panel becomes level with the ground. You can hear subtle ticking noises near the center of the tomb, until a final, ominous *clunk* implies that the tomb has been unlocked.
Pike and the three ponies head towards the center of the room.
Pike - “Don’t even look at me for help, I’m like 3 feet tall. What am I going to do, snort it open?”
Flutter-Die turns her head to the side, darting away from the tomb.
Daa’Hoof - “We shall open it together.”
Both of you steadily thrust the top of the tomb until it unceremoniously topples to the side of the coffin. Pike and Flutter-Die slowly make their way to see the body. You look inside with a reaction of shock, dismay, confusion, and a feeling of utter despair.
Pike - “No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO. We did NOT journey an entire day into a creepy old catacomb for this!”
Daa’Hoof - “…”
The tomb is empty.
Before you can speak, a pony appears out of a tunnel way opposite the way you came. Despite hearing the significant age in her voice, this is possibly the most youthful, beautiful mare you’ve ever seen. Wearing a shimmering robe of white, the mysterious mare slowly walks towards you.
Hannah - “I’ve sensed your presence for some time, but I needed to see this with my own eyes…”
At a closer distance her expression slowly transforms from serenity, to consternation, sadness, and finally sympathy. She lifts up her right hoof towards you.
1. Let her touch you.
2. Take a step back.

The catacombs here are labyrinthine in design, intended as a trap for those imprudent enough to step further than where we stand now. It ensures that anypony prepared ahead of time can survive whatever she may send to us.”

Bose had a very assertive stance on the lady of pink’s assaults, and didn’t want to go through the same scrapes caused by the journey you took. Even if he, among the rest of the guardians did not survive, it made an impact not only to the Lady, but to the people of Equis itself. Their efforts were not in vain.”

Hannah - “And that is the question that truly lies within you. The only path to the Lair of the Lady requires a special ‘key’. This ‘key’ isn’t the same as the physical kind anypony might think of. It could be a seemingly mundane object, a word, or a simple thought. You told me that only yourself and the 3 others who joined you could know the ‘key’, to prevent others from trying to help you, and die in the process. Without your memory, there’s little way to find the ‘key’…”
Hannah - “There is a technique that may change that. I’d learned it from the master before me, and it may lead you to the ‘key’ you seek. One of the mares that came with you managed to enter the portal back here, but didn’t survive to speak further. You can use this to ‘talk’ to him, or rather, ‘talk’ to his spirit. He may still remember what opened the way to her lair. You can find his grave near the temple lodgings.”

The Maneless One travels to the lodgings to find a small, nondescript gravestone near the housings.

For a brief moment in time, there is an unsettling silence. Eventually, she faintly hears a whispering voice emanating from the grave.
Vhail - “WHAT… I… where am I…can’t…feel anything…”
The Maneless One - “I have come to you for information, knowledge which the fate of our temple depends on.”
Vhail - “Hooves… I can hear you, but why can’t I see you? Where are you?"
1. “I’m sorry my friend, but you didn’t survive after leaving the portal.”
2. “You’re dead. Deal with it.”

Vhail goes quiet for a moment, though you can tell something is stirring within him.
Vhail - “And what do you wish of me, hooves?”
The Maneless One - “I need to find the ‘key’ to head back to the Lady of Pink.”
Vhail - “And repeat the mistakes we made there?”
The Maneless One - “With your help and knowledge, we may find a way to stop her. I’ve lost many of my memories; perhaps you can help.”
Vhail - “Her lair is built of a few sections from what I remember… a library, a factory, and the throne room itself. It was in the throne room in which everything turned into a nightmare. I fled as it all began, so I didn’t bear witness to her abilities… they would be more than formidable.”
The Maneless One - “And the key?”
Vhail - “The key is the thought of harmony, and the portal lies in the center of the hub…”
The Maneless One - “Thank you, friend. I need to leave now…”
Vhail - “Please… don’t… don’t leave me…”
His voice disappears as dust in the wind. He and his companions make the long journey back to the hub… the city is a shadow of its former self; the great wall that used to be a fortified juggernaut lay jagged and sloped along their sides. They pass through the ruins and bodies left from the guardians’ invasion to head towards the Hub’s center. A small circular tiling lay on the ground, with intricate geometric fractal patterns in its design. Looking above again, a purple glowing portal opens to everyone’s surprise. Hooves looks to his comrades.
1. Speak to Daa’Hoof.
2. Speak to Pike.
3. Speak to Flutter-Die.
4. “Let’s head in.”
