Lady of Pink - “The runed hammer of banishment has not seen use in many a moon... but nevertheless, you are wrong. Over the course of seeing this mistake play out, I have come to my *own* answer. The answer is nothing. You’d tried to stop me before, and it will fail just as it had failed then. As I prepared the killing blow, I‘d realized there was an opportunity to send you to a fate worse than death. I wished you to live without truly living. A life devoid of everything you once held precious.”

Lady of Pink - “One of my subordinates, Riddlemare, is a specialist in the less savory acts in Equis. With her help, I removed nigh-any chance of recollection from those around you, seized your memory, and left you abandoned to roam and watch futilely as I destroyed your kin.”

Lady of Pink - “And yet, here you are, attempting a vain effort in revenge against the same actions. History repeats, does it not? Leaving you alive was indeed a mistake. I can only assume riddlemare failed in her procedures as you’d managed to escape. Your existence, as fleeting as it may last, is proof that nothing can change the nature of a mare.”

1. “You seem far less…cheery than last time. What happened to you?”
2. “The Temple of Hooves is not a form of discord. How can you be so naïve?”
3. “The place seems rather barren; Why not defend yourself?”
4. “Wasn’t there a more peaceful answer than total genocide?”
5. “You could’ve teleported me anytime and tried to kill me. Why have me come to you?”
6. “I didn’t come here to talk. This must end.”

Lady of Pink - “And waste the effort? Disposing of you is far more sweet after you’d journeyed for days, done near-impossible feats, and all for nothing. Since I have the entirety of equis to rule over it was also a choice of convenience.”

Lady of Pink - “Your guardians are loyal and zealous - they never have, and never will listen to my words. Perhaps they will listen to my shadowmares instead...”

(admittedly I couldn't read everything within reason, but I'm making an effort to)

Finally, we get to the good part.

The Maneless One - "I will not stand for this. This must end."

The lady gawks at you with resentment in her eyes, and releases a powerful shockwave outward from herself. You are knocked senselessly to the wall… and when you arise, you see a nightmare incarnate. The lady of Pink has transformed to ten times her size, has spread her own wings, grown a unicorn, and her eyes have become an unsympathetic, portentous white.

The Final Battle

Lady of Pink - “INSOLENT WHELP… I CAN FORGE MARES WITH MY POWER. I CAN UNMAKE YOU. COME, AND LET US SEE IF YOU CAN TOPPLE THE GODDESS OF EQUIS.”

Ascending higher into the room, she releases a volley of iced spikes towards the hero. Derpy Hooves maneuvers past them and manages to avoid most of them through flight and luck.

Lady of Pink - “HOW LONG DO YOU THINK YOU’LL LAST THIS TIME? LONGER THAN VHAIL, PERHAPS? IT’S TIME TO FINISH WHAT I’D BEGUN…. DIE, INSECT!”

1. Use the Derpy Hooves techniques.
2. Attempt to find a weak spot through flight.(Pegasus)
3. Do a barrel roll.
4. Check your surroundings for something useful.

Ah, the spoofy choice. So be it.

Derpy Hooves begins to flap her wings and pick up speed. As she does, she notices out of the corner of her eye that both pike and Daa'Hoof have made it to the grand room.

Pike - "Look at the size of her!"

Daa'Hoof - "We shall make haste, hooves! We'll come to assist you!"

Pike and Daa'Hoof begin to join up with hooves and form a triangular formation in flight.

Pike - "Try pressing the B button to strike with your hooves!"

Daa'Hoof - "What in the name of equis is he babbling about?"

Pike - "Do a barrel roll!"

Barreling towards the final form of the Lady, her wings are bashed on the side, making it more difficult to stay afloat.

1. Achieve full derpy mode.
2. Do even more barrel rolls.
3. Use a triple tech attack.
4. Aim for her eyes to blind her.

Seeing the opportunity to strike the final blow, memories of everything that had been stolen from you begin to surge within your mind. All that which you'd taught at the temple you'd created at long last come to mind...

As Pike and Daa'Hoof gaze in amazement, your eyes slowly begin to twist and turn in perplexing directions.... your body convulses for a brief moment, and... it begins.

You slam relentlessly into the lady's final form, using the chaotic powers within you to quell her magical onslaught. After what seemed one hundred collisions within the blink of an eye, it is finished... Having toppled the goddess of harmony of herself, she slowly transforms back into her original form, crippled and torn.

Lady of Pink - “All…I ever wanted….was harm--”

She cannot finish, spitting out a shattered tooth that leaves a trail of blood. The fate of the lady, and of Equis, is now literally in your hooves. What will you do?

1. Spare the Lady of Pink

2. Imprison the Lady of Pink

3. Kill the Lady of Pink

You did, for the wrong reasons. if you truly wish for harmony, then rule through kindness and respect, not fear. I grant you one last chance to make amends for your actions."

[Dominus]

You come to the realization that by removing the lady from equis, all chance of maintaining peace would be removed. You've hardly the abilities to rule an entire plane of existence, so you make the fair decision.

The Maneless One - "You shall answer for your crimes, Lady of Pink...but I shall not slay, nor imprison you. You were a worthy opponent, but you must understand that I did not begin this war. The entire feud had been for an erroneous rationale. If you truly wish for harmony, then rule through kindness and respect - not fear. I grant you one last chance to make amends for your actions."

Lady of Pink - "After all this..."

The Lady of Pink slowly arises to face hooves herself.

Lady of Pink - "Clearly I not only underestimated your abilities in combat...but your wisdom as well. I shall continue as I have, but your temple and its guardians shall be kept protected. I shall remove the shadowmares...they were created of necessity and desperation."

Hooves nods at the lady, and looks behind her to notice Daa'Hoof and Pike with both of their jaws dropped open.

Daa'Hoof - "You truly are Derpy Hooves. I could not imagine anyone else to achieve such a thing. I'd expected a bloody end, but saying this was an impressive feat is a world of an understatement."

Pike - "I don't even know what to say, Boss."

Leaving the lady of Pink to her duties, the lone wanderer and her companions leave to the Temple of Hooves to begin rebuilding where they began, one pony at a time. Pike's house may have been destroyed in the invasion of the guardians, but he was more than happy to spend his days with hooves and his new comrades. What happened to them after that was left as myth and legend... but Equis...

Equis never changes.

The end.

Vampony: The Pinkie Party

Kidding. I've ponyfied enough cRPGs for a while. Certainly a good starting point if I ever want to try another forum adventure. Certain aspects like playing through your genuine actions would make a very unique feature. Maybe "BSN Quest" or something. Make up your own location, villain to thwart, etc. It's also incredibly exhausting to write it beforehand though, so I'll want to give it a rest - at least for a few weeks.

Glad everyone enjoyed it :-) Other than TwistedComplex, though I do get how it comes off to non-MLP fans. It's not like I could make "Nameless & Friends on a new adventure", and there's tons of bronies in BSN, so...

With bewilderment, and a smile on his face. I um...admittedly submitted it. It has enough MLP/PS:T/Gaming references and enough nerd value, I figured the MLP community would get into it.

Since I'm here, there's a couple neat things I wanted to mention. Derpy Hooves was not originally intended to be The Maneless One. Know how the classes 'locked in' your character once you did it? That wasn't a coincidence. TheBlackBaron had eventually chosen pegasus in Chapter 2, and that set the story in stone. I personally think it worked out well.

As I mentioned a few pages ago, the first 2 chapters may have been constructed all beforehand, but the last 2 were essentially on-the-spot. I sort of knew the vision and certain scenes that had to exist, but I sort of played with the choices you made. Not only was that a hell of a lot easier to construct, it's also far more interesting - especially when people start making the spoofy choices Press B to use your hooves! By the way, thanks to LPPrince for the link. It got in, yay.

Well, did you want something within the PS:D universe, or just something along those same lines?

I've been brainstorming something as of late. I create a series of polls where those who want to join in the adventure can vote on what setting they want, what kind of characters, etc. It's a massive version of a character/level creator. There are certain facets that will be fleshed out, but most of it would be improvized writing based on whatever choice they make, which can be whatever they want. Though certain ones would be omitted. I.e. "Make love to the crazy wench in the back" probably wouldn't be an appropriate decision.

Back on topic to Ponyscape... I'm not sure what would be a good place to fill in for it. I haven't decided yet; need some time to just shoot the breeze and relax a bit. Writing that was very exhaustive to my vocabulary.
