I just realised that I can't choose what kind of story I want to play when I import my character.
Like, RPG, Action or Story mode. It's not even an option. Is it supposed to be like that?

Yep, it's assumed if you played the first two games that you'll play on the RPG mode.

If you importing ME2 save, then you do NOT have to select any styles, game will just choose for you ''RPG'' mode, because it's default mode from ME1 and ME2...
