i have got all the armies accept for the templars or the mages and i have completed the quest with the templars but when i killed the boss guy cant remember his name at the end of the tower and you talk to the enchanter and i finish the quest then i appear at the entrence of the tower where gragoir is and i enter the tower and talk to him they respond as if i havent killed the boss and got ride of the abiminations but i have and i cant enter the tower becouse of the sealed door so basicly i cant continu the story so i have to start all over again or do i? is there any way to fix this?

You know, that's a bit confusing. You talked to the first enchanter, but you're killing all the mages? If you go back to the bottom of the tower with the first enchanter, you sided with the mages?



I'm not sure exactly what you've done here...a period or two would help separate one thought from the next. Truly, I think you need to clarify a bit before anyone can give you a coherent answer.

ok see when you enter the magi tower you talk with gragoir am i right and then you enter the sealed door and you meet mages when you have walked a bit and those mages have made a barrier i killed these mages and got past the barrier then i come to this guy witch sends me to the fade i finish the fade then at the end i fight this guy who changes him self to a demon i deafeat him then there is this enchanter i talk to when i finish talkin to him i appear at gregoir and i go talk to him to let him know that i have finished the quest but he does not respond as i finished the quest and i cant enter the sealed door if there was a bug with the boss or something... is this any better?

Sounds like it could be a bug, but it's still difficult to make out what you said - e.g. in your first post you said "i finish the quest then i appear at the entrence of the tower where gragoir is and i enter the tower and talk to him", do you mean you appear OUTSIDE the tower after talking to the enchanter, and have to go INSIDE the tower again to talk to greagoir in the entrance hall?

If so, that's weird.

But then in your second post you say it like it works normally (this is how I experienced it) - i.e. you appear INSIDE the entrance hall and talk to greagoir after having spoken to the enchanter.

One thing to be aware of: in the dialogue, to finish the quest properly, after you've spoken to the first enchanter (having defeated the demon upstairs) and you appear back in the entrance hall (with your party, the first enchanter, and Greagoir there), you have to make sure that Greagoir talks to the first enchanter - if you remember, that was the condition he set up when you started that quest: "I won't believe it's all over till I've heard it from the first enchanter himself", or something like that. I can only think that maybe you've missed the option to make him aware that the first enchanter is with you in the chat you have with Greagoir when you reappear in the entrance hall?

Short of going back to an earlier save, I can't think of any way myself - maybe report it as a bug? The quest definitely does work, because most players have obviously finished that quest, in many different ways, so I'd just recommend going back to an earlier save - it's a pretty cool fight up in the tower anyways

There was an auto save just before that Demon fight. Re-load that auto save put it on easy and yawn your way through it quickly.
