Joker, EDI, or Jack's voice actors always seem to do well. "I WILL DESTROY YOU!"

You remind me that I forgot about Jack. Yes, for the character the voice acting for Jack was perfect. Definitely one of the VAs that should be commended for their work. Joker and EDI are a given.

Not a hard question at all really. The worst voice actor is the one who *gasp* isn't actually a voice actor/actor. Of course, talking about Chobot.

Hard for me to pick a single favorite. I was pleasantly surprised at Freddy Prince Jr's performance. Seth Green of course always does an amazing Joker. Think I'd have to tip my glass to Lance Henriksen though.

Best: Jennifer Hale

The above was very hard to choose, as the game is filled with standout work from the cast. But Hale took the role and made it her own. And while Mordin's actor wasn't the same, it's a credit to his own talent that he convinced me that it was still the same Mordin I knew and loved.

Worst: Jessica Chobot

This has been talked to death. I won't flog a skinned horse.

For Shepard, I think Mark Meer definitely delivered his best performance in ME3. Jennifer Hale always sounded kinda bored to me when I listened to her delivery in all three games. She's done terrific work in other games and TV Shows, but I always found her performance in the ME games to be weak.

Liz Sroka did an excellent job with Tali, too, as usual. Brandon Keener did a great job as Garrus, as well.

Worst voice actor, I dunno... hard to decide. The kid at the starts voice acting is fairly weak. And Jessica Chobot as Diana Allers; no disrespect to her, but the character was also fairly bland and forgetable, along with her delivery.

Best: Lance Henriksen/Ali Hillis. Sorry Martin, with all respect - not the "best work ever"
Worst: so, Chobot of course.

I totally agree. Well she probably isn't worse than Chobot, but I still agree in general.I just don't get the love for Hale's performance in the series. She's done some amazing work, but I felt that in ME1 she was cold and heartless sounding almost always. It just didn't work for me. I couldn't finish a ME1 playthrough with a femshep (though I got close), didn't even bother in 2 (and won't in 3).

As Av said, don't hate, it's just one of those things that's always left me scatching my head.

Good: Almost everyone else

Worst: Chobot (not really her fault, she isn't an actress)

I love when people say this. :D

It's like trying to excuse a dog for pooping all over your couch. "It's not his fault; dogs aren't civilized".
I guess it's still Bioware's fault for inviting her to voice Allers, though.

Almost every clip I see of Meer, his voice is very constant. He has a good voice, almost like a Mike Rowe, but to me it feels like he does very little with it.

I haven't played ME1 so I don't know how Hale is in that, but in ME2 and 3 she's more than excellent.

Honestly, Meer reminds me of Harrison Ford. He has a good everyman sort of voice, which fits Shep well if you ask me.

Meer voices maleShep, Vorcha, Volus, and additional voices. Hale only voices femShep.
Meer wins :P

Keith was awsome. Especially that last scene with anderson and shepard, brilliant voice acting. Jennifer Hale also helped me greatly to make the character believable, it makes shepard a realistic person that I can relate with.

I'm probably gonna get flamed to hell and back for my next comment though: I cant stand Meers voice acting. It makes shepard seem completely unrealistic in my eyes and I could never get into playing maleshep for exactly this reason.

There were a lot of great voice actors. Keith David was my absolute favourite because Gargoyles has conditioned me to associate his voice with sheer awesomeness, but I think every major character in the Mass Effect series was done well. Even ManShep, who has improved greatly since ME1.

Chobot... well, she's not a voice actress. I can't really blame her for doing a poor job; I'd probably do just as poorly.

Jessica Chobot by FAR is one of the worst voice actors I have heard in a long time! I'm not trying to be a douche but I have no idea how she got the part when there were so many other qualified voice actors out there that DON"T SUCK!

Best would be either Seth Green or Martin Sheen. They both did a great job.

Have you done femshep renegade? "Cold and heartless" kind of works in that case. (Though I don't think it's a good description of her performance)

i've never done a femshep paragon, perhaps her paragon voice work is poorer.

Hands down Jessica Chobot's pitiful character. There is no one worse. I don't think most child actors can act so it's not fair to them. However, if you're an adult and you are doing voice over work for a game you can at least take some classes before you hit the mic. I'm sure she didn't even know where to go even though she probably could've asked BioWare to point her in the right direction with some of the voice talent they have.

Best: Seth Green / Mark Meer, Mark doing the voice acting of Male shepard, volus and Vorcha which is quite a task. Joker i just love his humour.

Worst: I'd say in personal opinion the way EDI is presented throughout the game, being unshackled, thinking for herself she becomes more adept at "feeling" throughout the game, yet it seems to phase in and out of her normal formal voice and that expressing emotion, or some emotion.
That or Udina
