I'm still part of the "grey start button so can't preload" crowd. If it doesn't go green on release in 15 hours, I'm buying it off D2D or Steam and won't even bother with a month-long refund process with EA Store.

Played through the Dalish elf origin and it's great so far. Died for my first time ahaha

Still haven't ran into Morrigan yet, just about to it seems. All I can say is that it's great, I've already fallen in love with all of the temporary companions, seems to be another typical Bioware game, which is great.

I fear the arrival of my preorder(Amazon.ca sold more than anticipated so it was delayed...), for I've found Bioware games tend to seize all of my free time in their firm jaws... Not that I don't enjoy every moment of it!

Got it yesterday. Install went without incident on Windows 7 HP. Playing it. Still in "Origin Story" part. There are things to like. So far, so good.

Canceled 360 SE from Blockbuster, Canceled 360 CE from EB w/codes, and been trying to find PC copy ever since. Hopefully today something will show up. Not too worried about extras they all look crappy except the Wardens Keep which was DCE and should have been in the game anyways. Not like I would buy something I could mod in 30 minutes cold turkey. Could care less about Shale quest/char (I hate golems and it wasnt funny or cute..), and Blood Armor probably sucks by end game anyways. Suppose I could wait a while seeing as how it's PC and console versions suck. Probably drop like a rock in price after XMAS. Then again I can't wait that long so will probably find a copy on PC today. If only MW2 was out tomorrow...

Anyone in the UK received theirs from an online retailer yet? Play.com said they shipped out mine yesterday but unsure if it'll arrive today, for sure it won't tomorrow due to the stupid strike. So maybe on Sat i might get lucky if it doesn't arrive in the post today.

Apparently something is wrong with the German version, so no Dragon Age for me
The guy in the store even said "Yeah, we got it, but I won't sell it to you because it's messed up. Ha-ha, now sod off." Very frustrating. I thought about kicking him in the shin and dart off with one of the copies for a second, but. . . unfortunately he was bigger than me.

Wow. I got this game yesterday on a whim. I've played every Bioware game since KOTOR and hadn't really heard anything about this one. The videos I watched online didn't do much for me, but I decided to go for it as RPGs are really the only games I play these days... and man am I blown away. This game is incredible. No video of game play does this one justice. It is an experience that should not be missed! Definitely one of my top 5 favorite games ever.
