Sorry, that was just me heading off the flow of such threads/posts as they come in, since the game arrives in a matter of hours for a lot of people (not to mention those that have it on hand already due to courier/mail or other reason). Don't get mad at Bio!

Like most, I'll have to wait a bit, but I'm having major computer issues (nasty controller errors!) that are keeping me from doing much of anything lately. Majorly bad timing.

My copy just arrived via UPS. I pre-ordered a physical copy from EA store. YAY me! Installing now.

Got my preorder down, and the EB games I'm getting it from already has them good to go for tomorrow. Five or six years of waiting is finally coming to an end.

This morning, I checked at school if DAO had shipped. It had not. I checked at around 1 pm, and it had. This makes me excited. I don't hate Gamestop as much anymore.



*flails* OH DEAR GOURD. It's finally here. I wish I could have a pre-release party. I'll have to make do with talking with a few people online, flailing about, taking turns saying, "I can't wait."

I will say this... To those that dont have it yet.



Dont expect any flashy install window =D.. its the normal 'unpacking' with a list of the files its opening up + a little bar showing you the progress lol.



Whont give any spoilers about what happens after you launch it. =P But one tip.. if you redeam any pre-order or CE eddition codes.. make sure your capslock key is on.. those codes ARE Case sensative.. and the webstie dosnt see "a" and "A" as the same.

What the hell? I thought the release date was the 6th but people ahve it already. Its already cracked and all over the internet to download (illegally). I've preordered a copy and I gotta wait till friday but the games already pirated? Something is just not right with this situation if you ask me...

We're not talking pirated versions here (at least, I hope not). Some people got the game early due to couriers/mail getting the game to them sooner than expected, or retailers releasing the game before they should have.

The release date in NA (and perhaps other places) is officially November 3rd. Nov 6 is for Europe, I believe.

Gamestop sent me an e-mail with my item codes not long ago, but no shipping confirmation yet.



So, I don't have it yet, but, thanks to overnight shipping I should have it sometime Wednesday.



It seems to me that the folks ordering directly from EA may have gotten their copies earlier. It would make a certain kind of sense though, EA would have to ship prior to release in order for retailers to be able to release it on the 3rd, so why not reward those who order direct from them?

Well I'm in Europe. I didn't realise the US release was on the 3rd. I just feel a bit cheated that the game is available illigally before I even get my legal copy. Oh well no use moaning about it I suppose. Just have to be patient

I guess in a sense I can say that I got it. I have pre-loaded it over Steam. But I won't get it enabled/decrypted before friday though, because of the annoying 3 day difference in release from US/Canada and the EU. How about distributors ship stuff overseas a bit earlier and make a worldwide release on the same date? Is that so hard? It's not a big deal, at least I got other games to keep me entertained. I still wish I could load up Steam tomorrow morning and decrypt the game like the americans and canadians though. I want to play DA:O as well! Heh.
