Well I got it on day one from Steam. Didn't pre-order but got the digital CE. I've been very busy with real life so I haven't gotten to play as much as I like but from what I have the game has the potential to be the best RPG I've ever played. And I've been around forever, ehe. Yea, so far it's that good so a big kudos to the devs.

My boyfriend got the PS3 the first day it came out. Sorta unhappy with the fact that even though he pre-ordered it and was supposedly supposed to get some download-able content others weren't able to get and then got the game to find out everyone CAN get the content. But thats OK.
I went and bought the game for the 360 just this Friday. I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the game and glad its held up to its potential. I tried to stay away from any trailers and what not, so I wouldn't be expecting anything and be disappointed. I definitely wasn't! Very impressed with Bioware. And in my own opinion, I feel as though its sort of a clash between Oblivion and Fable. They took the good things from each game and through them into Dragon Age. <333

Hmm.. Interesting. Sounds like a marketing speech from Bioware there Setto hehehee Seriously: Graphics and framerate r my only concernes. I'm sure DAO will deliver, when it comes to other areas, masterfully.

I'm pretty sure the guy at Gamestop was just giving us incorrect information. Haha. And I agree with the whole Graphics and frame rate. Thats my only complaint.

I'm envy (in the positive meaning of the word) of you all!
I'm brazilian and I had to use an importer to get the game. It was extremely expensive, around three times the price it should have been and I doubt I will receive it before this month's end.
Yet, I've got so fanatic for this game, mainly from watching the trailers (since I saw it in August, there hasn't been a day I don't check Dragon Age's website), that the simple thought I will receive it, sooner or later, makes me happy.
Watching the trailers I've dowloaded has already become a common free time activity, and I'm sure that, when I receive it, I will spend a full day (from 7am to 10 pm) playing it.
The only bad thing is that I no longer dare to view and post on the forums, they are full of spoilers. Because of this, I think I will not be comming back to the community before my copy arrives.
At the end, I think I've posted here because I am happy, happy of knowing that, even being so far from most players, I am still going to get my DA Collector's Edition.
Good luck for those who have already received their copies. I wait mine anxiously. Until it arrives, I guess I will keep watching the trailers I've dowloaded and getting even more excited.
My personal release is on December, and when that happens, my effort will have been worthwhile!

Why so? You could have bought the Brazilian version that is going to be released next Friday (13/11), or a digital version from Steam or EA Store. Unless you're talking about a console version, then yeah...

I finally got my copy friday, but I had to buy a regular version, BECAUSE Bioware refuses to ship the CE in Quebec... Why is that ? Both english and french versions of the game are being sold, so it had nothing to do with the new law.
Will there be a soundtrack released ? That was the main reason I wanted the CE, but since I got shafted there, I'll have to get it another way.

Having ghosted on the forums the last couple of days I really want to play the game but won't be getting the DLC - hopefully there's a method of obtaining it in the CE that I would actually pay extra for.
Letting my creative juices flow on the tool set will be nice as well hopefully all the problems with both the installer and the tool set will be patched up/fixed by Tuesday.

Got it, and I have been playing it for some time. Finally managed to get me DLC content in and Im loving the blood dragon armor =D
Story is great, though there is some lack of imersion in some areas of the game. A few things id like to see fixed, but nevertheless a super game! Its beena while since iv played such a good WRPG. GJ!

I got out super early and was waiting at the doors for BestBuy to open. When they did I made a beeline straight to the PC games section and picked up the CE and the CE Game Guide! This is without a doubt the most impressive game purchase I have EVER made, and I've been playing since the days of Wizardry on the Commodore 64 (Anyone remember those days, How far we have come)! The map is the best quality I have seen, but if them had stiched in a boarder to prevent fraying, well that would be the icing on the cake. The metal container and inside, plus the free DLC stuff, just one heck of a deal! The CE Guide, with hard cover and 400 plus pages, WOW, impressive, plus everyone involved with making the game signed their names into the inside front and back covers, just like a year book!
I spent $99.95 for the two and it is the best money I have spent in a LONG time! And I haven't even started to play the game yet, so when I do, I'm sure it will be even more impressive than what I have stated here.
I know I am pretty much echoing what others have said, but hey, this is the bragging rights thread, so I'm bragging!
Gunny
PS: By the way, the 2nd disc in the CE is awesome! It by itself is worth the price for admission! If you haven't checked it out yet and you own the CE, do yourself a favor and pickup what you have been missing!
