I had pre-ordered my DA:O Collector's Edition on Thurs 29/10/09 on-line with free delivery and I have to wait for Thurs.5/11/09 (6pm - 9pm) to arrive because of too many people pre-ordered.

Actually I can get this today at other shop without free delivery.

Grrr. Gamestop has been saying it is closed and gave me a shipping number about 10 hours ago. Yet when I click on the shipping link. UPS doesn't show squat. That worries me some.

Amazon shipped mine out today so it should be arriving tomorrow (one-day shipping). Can't wait! I'm definitely going to be playing it all night. :-)

I pre-ordered ages ago from GameStop but they "claimed" there were no collector's editions left. A bold faced lie!!! No worries though...can't wait to put the kids to bed, pour a bourbon and start the game Tuesday night!!!

Oh, and just saw my first television ad for it, CBS (I think) during Big Bang Theory. It just struck me as a really logical placement. Well done. Except, y'know, it did nothing but tease me in HD. Jerks.

I got it this morning. Work was hell to get through, let me tell you.



Also, (on PC here) I got an XML error when the installer started up so it was odd. The buttons worked but nothing else was visible, just my desktop in background. The buttons had a bit of an outline like there was an art screen for the installer. It is installing right now fortunately, I just wondered if anyone else on PC noticed the same thing.

Why did I save the bucks on free delivery? USPS got it today on a place 45 min from me and has not delivered yet ??! Another long day at work until I finally can fight the blight Hopefully - since estimated delivery says 5th? 3 days for a 45 min ride? Wtf?

I made the mistake I found out last week when I tried to cancel the regular edition strat guide for the collector's that I deleted my CE from Amazon instead, it took me all night but finally found out Fry's Electronics could ship me a CE and get it here by tomorrow, just got the FedEx confirmation, amazed they were able to pull it off so fast.

I ordered mine through the EA store DDE. It finished pre-loading and now says 15 hours til release! wooo, can't wait
