People need to get off Jacob's nuts about ME3.

Jack... is popular? That's news to me.
And no, I would not get all butthurt if Jack was scripted move on with someone else. Jack is my favorite but I'm not THAT attached to a game romance. If she's happy, that's all that would really matter to me anyway.
I'll agree about his chick, though. There should've been an option to Rene-slap her for her BS. I think the writers just wanted to put JT in a better light. Like, it wasn't him/it was mostly her. But yeah, Shepard just saying "I dun wanna talk to you" was just lame.
And sorry, but to all the people saying it"s crap that he couldn't contact her in Alliance custody, that's simply a fact that they established well before any issues of romances/seperation were raised. Choosing not to believe it doesn't help your case. As for "racial stereotypes" ... lolno. More like racial-oversensitivity on part of the fans. He's not married to her for Pete's sake, hell it's really not even cheating when it comes down to it, what to say of walking out on her and a child.
I'm not saying BW was right to do this, but there's really nothing wrong with his actions as such. I think people saying he ought to just bottle up his feelings for a girl and wait it out for someone that for all he knows he'll never see again are unreasonable.

They should have done this with every single LI.
Liara: You were dead, Shepard! What was I supposed to do? I have moved on. I have obligations. I have...a bonded. I would die for Feron. And for our three beautiful blue girls.
Tali: *wringing her hands* You were away for six months, and Kal was so kind to me, so we...we linked suits. He was comforting me, nothing else. But then...I don't know how it happened, Shepard! I'm so sorry, I can't betray Kal.
Jack: You were the one who left me! You think you're some fking precious prince, to wait for you in the tower? But guess what, Shepard. I found someone who will never leave me!
The ****storm would've been glorious.
Garrus: Get over it, Shepard, you were never my first choice. You know I just used you to get on the Normandy. I love you Normandy gun! Soon I will start calibrating you again!

The ****storm would've been glorious.
The other LIs had too many important things going on to think about other relationships.
Garrus: Reaper advisor to the Turian Fleet
Tali: Newest Admiral of the Migrant Fleet
Liara: The Shadow Broker
Miranda: Fleeing the two richest men in the galaxy while also protecting her sister
Thane: Dying while still mourning one wife
Jack: Principal of Grissom Biotic Academy
VS: Highest-ranking N7 operative in your absence, 2nd human Spectre candidate, and already abandoned you once.
Meanwhile Jacob... was busy pissing around, ran into some scientists and decided to look out for them. Ooh, edgy!

Sometimes regardless of what you do, you can get screwed over in romances. I think it would have been fairer if they
1. Had an equivilant situation occur to maleshep also, not the same thing but have a romance "Go wrong"
2. Given the player some sort of warning. For example in ME2 we knew Miranda and Jacob had a history. I would have like to have seen, coupled with the "She deserves a better man then me" comment, some kind of warning from Miranda that Jacob has not always been a "one woman man" or something to that affect.

Why can't they have a romance like garrus' fans did? it was so well done.

BroShep has more varied amount of cover of each LI. Don't know who gets the most, Ash perhaps. But I know that Jack has less than that. And I don't know if Tali has as much cover as Garrus.
I am sad that my Jacob and Thane got cut, because for me this is hurting my replaying-mode. And I am not so sure that this all or nothing approach that they have had towards FemShep's LI:s really is the best way to go about it. If Jacob would have had any kind of romantic content in this game, it would never have been as much as Garrus, that is reserved for those with a big fan-base. And it's ok, I get that. But this that we get nothing, it makes time spent working to get a romance with Jacob wasted as far as I go.
Yes, I am one of those people who really enjoys the romances. Having a specific LI for a FemShep shapes a lot of how I see her. And even if I am a big-time-Kaidan-girl I don't want to romance him in every single PT. Now, when I get a convo with him in ME3 I really get butterflies and it's such a great feeling. But when I know a romance-arc too much by heart the magic lessens, have learned that after playing my BioWare-games for a few year. Luckily I love Liara also. But I have three FemSheps with Jacob that I really see no reason for bringing over to ME3. I also had plans to romance Thane in two PT:s, just to see something completely new because I have never seen his romance-arc. Don't see that happening anymore. In fact, the only one in ME2 that I had no plans of romancing is Garrus, can't get past the brother-feeling with him. Will have to work on that so there is at least a second guy in the galaxy, it will get me at least one more PT.
