I mean for me, much of the game is Bioware in top form. The gameplay is top notch (I love the new melee system and rolling mechanic, and the new weapons kick ass), the story is epic and intimate in equal doses (the deaths of some your former squadmates from ME2 being highlights), the new characters make a mark (James Vega is an okay guy, while Javik is probably the best new character in the series despite being DLC), while the old faces make a welcome return (particularly Garrus, Wrex and Mordin).
It's just too bad that much of that quality is severely derailed by a crap ending. What the hell? Couldn't they think up of a better way to end the series? It felt more like a copout than a conclusion.
So to sum up, I like the game, but I don't love it like I loved ME2. Much of the game I enjoyed, the ending I loathed.
Do any of you feel the same way? Discuss.
Is the ending the only thing you hated in ME3?

I believe it was the better game of the three. It managed to take a few cues from 1 and keep 2's slick presentation. I enjoyed that there were expanded skill trees and actually a skill that influenced speech options.
Still..that ending. I just can't bring myself to replay it.

More or less. I have little problems, like the pacing in the beginning seems a little fast and some animation problems, but nothing that I hate or anything. I mostly really liked the game.

The other 99% that isn't the ending is quite good. Yes the endings are what I hated.

Endings + Poor execution on Tali face reveal. Everything else sublime

I had a few minor issues, of course, but nothing that came even remotely close to the ending.

Thought it was the Best of the three till the star child showed up, everything had built up well. The Closure on the Krogan/Celarians Geth/Quarians was all great then BAM Destroyed the universe.

The ending is the only thing I would go so far as to "hate." Everything else is honestly just quibbles and gripes (stiff animations, some glitchy graphics etc.) I apply way more "love" to this game than anything else just....That ending

The entire game "except for the ending dialog choice/cutscene" was brilliant and what I expected from Bioware.

Pretty much. I have one or two nitpicks but hate would be a little too strong a word for those.
Otherwise the game was better than a thousand suns.

There are ''a lot'' of things that i could talk about, such as not being able to actually carry out a conversation with your squad mates, only Zaeed style talking. But the ending overshadows everything and makes them tiny problems none cares about.

I had some issues, like the treatment of Jacob and Thane, and sometimes the pick up X for Y missions got a little old, but everything was forgiven and could be dealt with headcanon right up until the final assault.

total lack of an epilogue and the plots hole big enough to pilot a dreadnought through, other than that, I enjoyed the journey, a pitty the destination was total ****e(and don't you dare tell me the destination doesn't matter)

No. But the other things were minor in comparison and didn't detract too much from the game and certainly did not invalidate both ME1 and ME2 in the process.

The only thing I'm beginning to hate is other players. Especially the inconsiderate jackasses who think we all share your opinion.

It's the only thing I "HATED" but not the only thing I disliked... there's still a lot of problems, but overall a good game.

Nop, as far as the game goes, for me, its the best one in the series... well, then again, its the one who destroys the series.....

I loved 99.9% of ME3. But the ending killed any desire in me to import all my other sheps and finish them.

Pretty much yes, the rest of the game is marvellous

Only thing that bothered me was the mission journal. Rest of the game was damn near a masterpiece. Shame about that bloody ending.

Yeah, pretty much.
The biggest issue I had with the game before I saw the ending was the fact that there is less interactive dialogue but that would be easily forgivable had the ending not been as bad as it is.

The auto dialogue and removel of neutral options bugged me a little, but it wasn't as game breaking as the endings.

The only other thing I even remotely disliked was the fact that Aria's Eclipse quest was broken, and that the Journal wasn't as detailed as it had been in previous games and sometimes left me scratching my head (especially when it came to finding things in systems that hadn't been opened yet).
