Took me an hour or so to realise what was what, but when when it hit me... I clapped.

Looking forward to it.. and I must say - the deliberate outcry provication was extremely well played, risky.. but well played.

Rage/Internet Tsunami will prove a brilliant catalyst for the Awakening.

I should go.

Exactly same thing with me....

First thought it was ok

Then i realised there were ridiculous plot flaws and was livid

Then i realised what happened and some people online had already figured it out.

I am in AWE

I can't believe people are saying the ''alternative'' theory is made up...it makes the most sense and fills in every single plot hole

OP just realized Indoc Theory was correct, I'm guessing. :)

I had a similar reaction.

The "ending" was clearly set up as a TO BE CONTINUED kind of thing. All the hints and clues were there IF you paid attention.

It was beautifully told and masterfully pulled off Bioware... Kudos !

-If you are right its the first time in gaming history that a company has trolled its own client base. Incidentially it will also be the last because the ****estorm has been so powerfull.

If you are wrong, you are nothing more than trolls.

So Im leaning toward "obvious troll is obvious". Bye now.

"Final Hours" says ending was slapped together last minute because they weren't sure what to do and everyone who thinks otherwise is grasping at straws. gg

Makes sense "borrow" from Deus Ex and pallete swap here and there.

There is no "real" ending. The ending you received is the ONLY ending.

That was my EXACT same thought/reaction process after the ending.

This is a true innovation in gaming... I am also in awe.

This is the video game version of a rock band bringing the crowd to the brink of anarchy driven chaos by walking off-stage suddenly after a 'new song no-one knows'.. never having played a handful of their biggest songs... everyone's like.."Is that it?", "I want my money back!!" and "World Tour tickets CANCELLED!".... only to burst back to the stage to drop a hearty barrage of crowd favourites that leaves everyone in a state of awe, satisfaction and 'I can't believe they did that' faces.

Pretty Keyser Soze if you ask me.  Brilliant.

... I believe that's actually why it's not the real ending. They rushed out the indoctrination to make a proper ending-DLC...

Well there may have been an intent but it looks like time ran out and you were left with what they had done with some cuts here and there.

It's quite possible you are seeing two different planned endings cobbled together into one and thats the reason that nothing fits.

Yeah, having to buy an expansion of Mass Effect 3 - after we have been told for years that Shepard's story would be over after the third game and no loose ends would be left - would be great. Oh, wait. Great was the wrong word. I meant outrageous.

I find these kind of reactions...to be bizarre.

"At first I hated the ending, now I'm in awe! I realize the brilliance that BioWare has done here, because it's a twist!"

Why would you be in "awe" based off a vast assumption. I get speculating. But some of you are 100% believing something is going to happen, and there is no guarantees.
