It's not a fake ending. It's an open, interpretable ending which is pretty obvious at this point that there was something underlying which wasn't said. They aren't going to replace it with a new one. They are probably going to build off of it. The internet connection really doesn't matter much anymore, IMO, because we are in the age of downloadable content. That's just how it is. They can justify it in those cases for people who can't buy DLC by saying "we still delivered the ending, everything else is bonus."
Regarding the third point, I can understand hardcore fans or regular gamers getting through the game super-fast but BioWare Twitter posts have EXPLICITLY said they are keeping their mouths shut on what's coming because they want more people to finish it. That's fact, I'm sure you can find the messages as well. So no, I don't think that's relevant either. So that attempt to totally shoot down any and all evidence definitely is pretty moot when you look at it.
It's not a "fake" ending. Not saying I loved it but there's plenty of room to support the notion that there is more coming that will be tacked on after the events. More notably, picking up from the high EMS "destroy" bonus scene. It's just obvious at this point they are going to do something. Whether it was planned or responsive to the backlash, something is coming. "Just admit it."
Extremely Well Played Bioware *real clapping*
