The background of the photo from the game doesn't really make sense. I would have expected the inside of a ship instead.

I don't know if Bioware would go for it... but to be honest that is an amazing interpretation. the best i have seen by far. I, like many people am fascinated with Tali's mystery features.... (I didn't mean for that to sound crude!)
if that is what Quarians look like... i would be happy with it.

I like the effort that went into it compared to the photoshopping of a stock photo, but other then that it's a bit too startrek for my liking. That is, it is a bit too much like having slapped a blob of liquid latex on the top of someones head (I've never been keen on that approach to aliens). Certainly elements of it work and it's a fine piece of art, but it's less close to my mental picture of the Quarians then the photo was.

Eh, not my favorite fan made photo. Disregards certain things we know about quarians to make "Tali". Such as glowing eyes (usually depicted as white), lack of ears (quarians don't have "ears" like humans), the color of skin would be clearly seen in other quarian helmets if it was purple. (remember some have diff colored visors). Oh and the fact that this really doesn't fit Tali's character/personality well imo.

I liked the one we got in game minus the hand...they needed to fix the photoshop of that since theres a space between her fingers. To be honest the photo doesn't look bad, only the lack of effort is bad.

The one posted first doesn't look good in my opinion. Her face is obviously too human. I mean we have the asari for this. There has to be a mixture between something really exotic but also something familiar to us humans at the same time. That is too obvious! Her ears look weird and the crossing between the back head and the face part could be better. I know it's very hard to do this but Bioware did an interesting thing with the asari, now don't copy it and project it onto the quarians. Make something overall new, which applies exotic but some kind of familiar.
