the only problem i had with the picture is the photoshopping of her hand was pretty sloppy. they could have made her hand look more realistic.

the fact that it's a stock photo? not a single F was given that day.

I don't mind her looking human at all. Quarians are supposed to resemble humans the most out of all the galactic races. And the photo of her is fine to me, actually.

The thing that KILLS me is how they passed up that opportunity on Rannoch. Maybe someday...

I was interested in seeing what Quarians looked like under the mask but beyond a minor curiosity it really didn't matter to me all that much since what I got from the Tali relationship (romance or otherwise) is that it really didn't matter what was behind the mask.  Tali was her personality and conveying emotion and empathy through speech and body language much like how empathy for Legion had nothing to do with how he looked.

So, no, not really, it wouldn't have mattered to me too much though part of the wonder of any universe that isn't dominated by stock fantasy tropes is seeing the variations.

I would have absolutely no problem if I didnt know the picture was from a stock photo. Hell >.> I kinda wish nobody ever even found that stock photo.

I didn't mind the stock photo. I've seen it before, but it could have still looked quite nice.

My main problem is that it was a very fast photoshop job. There are big flaws, particularly in how the hand doesn't match Tali's hand structure at all.

The whole thing felt like a strictly high-level concept piece that was bullrushed into the game.

still, like many other people have said previously, I really wish they actually put some effort into animating Tali's face and making a big reveal like that. That would have been amazing. :C

I dont even think they will do it in future games due to a thing Tali says after all that business on Rannoch. Its basically "we wont even need to be in our suits anymore, but some of us might stay in them. They have become a symbol of our culture."

I'm... not a big tali fan honestly but the moment I saw the photo my immediate thought was "that looks way too human... all the other aliens look different." Even the Asari who are the most humanoid look different from afar.

I don't even like Tali, I actually sort of despise her, but it pisses me off knowing it's canon that Quarians are three fingered humans with weird legs, and glowing eyes. All because bioware couldn't be ****ed to put in the effort. I mean, why do it at all if you're not going to try? It's the design of an incredibly popular character, and more importantly, an entire species.

The way how Tali looks like is acceptble, but the reason that it was not their photo, just took one from internet and photophoped - makes this photo hate.

They are? Where's it say that? I expected them to look really alien. 

nope. Cant exactly link you to a specific place, but I think it says in various codex entries/wiki links/art books or what have you that Quarians are supposed to look the most similar to humans out of all of the races in ME.

I was hugely disappointed when I saw that it was only going to be a photo. My disappointment grew when I learned that it was a poorly photoshopped stock picture from Google.

It was a lazy effort at best, Bioware should have made a 3D model, or not included it at all.

I get the distinct impression that Tali was left until the last minute and the rush job clearly shows.  I think the same thing happened with the ending.  Hopefully they'll go back and do both justice, but after DA2, I won't hold my breath.

I liked Tali's photo. Stock or not (which, frankly, I dont really see the resemblance tbh). Maybe a bit too human, but thats a minor complaint. I wouldve liked to see some visual tech on the quarians.. I mean it is their bread and butter. But other than that, I quite like how she looked. I understand why it wasnt rendered in-game, but instead a photo. I have no problems with that...
