This is the reason why I cant understand why ppl actually like them or make the LI. It make no sense at all.

I so wanted to send Ash into the orbit with biotics when she said all those things. Grrr

Btw... Shepard is Alliance Navy. Since when does Major out rank Naval Commander?

Codex: Alliance rank Major > Commander.

Commander of ship > Major though and beside Spectre > Alliance ranks.

Depends entirely on how you want to see it.

And no the VS getting Spectre rank means squat, since Shep gets Spectre at an earlier date. Then again there is no 'command' structure per se.

That's right. Shepard is Commander of ship, he is Alliance Navy Commander.

Since ME1, he has been the Commander of Normandy under Captain Anderson's command until he becomes Spectre.

No, that's false. Shepard is not in command of the Normandy when Captain Anderson is still in command of the Normandy.

Hence why Captain is a higher rank than Commander in the Navy

Admiral > Captain > Commander; who is usually the XO.

That is the chain of command of a fleet or navy. Hence, the Command of a vessel/ship out ranks any Major.

When they needed to give Shepard his own ship, they pull Anderson out of the Normandy. Which imply, without a Captain, Commander Shepard is the highest ranking officer on the vessel Normandy.

I didn't really even think Horizon was a big deal.

But no, I do not think their suspicions are valid as of Mars while you're actively sabotaging their plans and James confirms you had 0 contact with them on Earth. Use common sense

Everyone from Cerberus is now working for the enemy. Shepard was rebuilt by Cerberus and they could've easily put a mind control chip in Shepard's brain.

After Mars, I know Kaidan says he was wrong. While in the cerberus base, he also says that he regrets not being with you to fight the collectors. He apologizes plenty but his concern is justified. Just cause you kill Cerberus agents, doesn't mean you aren't working for them undercover.

But how is asking about it gonna make any diffrence? What outcome could it have other then annoy a loyal Shepard ? Would a pro-Cerberus Shepard just go 'yeah yeah, im just leading you in circle' ?

Lets say Shep learns from Dr. Chakwas that the VS accessed Shepard's medical files to see if she has had a mind control chip implanted or something. Sure my Shep would have been pissed, but she would also understand the VS was activly making sure she could be trusted. Simply whining about it has no option to lead anywhere.

So you'd rather the VS just go behind Shepard's back? It's not pointless to question. Maybe Shep overheard this plan by the Illusive Man. Also reaction is key, too. If Shep blows the VS off immediately instead of answering calmly that could throw up some red flags.

They are friends, they share their concerns. Would you rather they be secretly thinking about shooting you in the back if you do something suspicious? The reason why they are talking to Shepard is because they want to trust her/him and are fighting the logic not to.

And my Shep wasn't annoyed. I wanted to explain myself on Horizon, but I couldn't. There was nothing off about Kaidan's reaction to me.

And, the control-chip argument is stupid too bc if he were under control he wouldn't be able to foil their plans on mars. TIM even knows he's there.

Considering TIM's convoluted plans, the sheer stupidity of some of their experiments, and the number of rogue Cerberus factions running around.
