I'm trying to see how much EMS you can actually get if you follow the path that maximize it but I don't know if Firewalker or other N7 missions from ME2 mattered in ME3. The one time I finished ME3 I didn't notice any.
Do any N7 missions from ME2 give War Assets in ME3?

I think Firewalker matters. It's possible the Prothean Sphere does something, I'm just not sure what.

I did the Prothean sphere with my current playthrough and it hasn't turned up on my War Assets. Neither has the Firewalker pack.

I never figured out what to do with the data Archer gave me from Overlord.

As far as i have seen the only sidemissions that have any effect on ME3 are UNC: Asari Writings, Citadel: The Fan (Conrad Verner) Citadel: Rita's Sister, Feros: Data Recovery and Buying an Elkoss Combine Licence (ME1); and All the ME2 DLCs except for Firewalker but the best source for all things Mass Effect related See Mass Effect Wiki

AFAIK, there is no impact from Firewalker or the N7 missions in ME2.

Because you don't get any actual data. Oh and you also get more war assets by taking David out of Overlord.

That's because the idea of being able take control of the geth was neglected in favour of a poorly-presented and conceived faction choice.Johnnycide wrote...

I also liked how Renegade Shepard acts like a self-rightous hypocritical ****** with Gavin Archer despite agreeing to have David continue in the program. Really shows the Renegade path isn't some tacked on troll mode.

I think that is all the more interesting because in a new character game (non-import), Shepard is friendly to Archer and shakes his hand, then asks him about what they learned on the project. So there was variation built into the conversation, and with some tweaking I think they could have made a "sympathetic to the program" Shepard variation that wouldn't have required much change from the non-import conversation.Seboist wrote...
