I loved Jack. In fact had my male shep drop Ashley for Jack in ME 2. And Jack is virtually non existent in the finale. Why? How hard would it have been to simply replace Ashley with Jack depending on your romance choice early in 3? From a character development standpoint, The depth of emotion that Shephard is forced to get out of Jack; a deeply wounded soul; in order to win her trust and love, dictates that she would absolutely be there for him in this game by any mens necessary.
