So what do you guys feel about it? personally i find this extremenly unfair, 1st with the battlefield 3 bonus and now this.
Good way to show that bioware doesn't care about ps3 users.
Operation: Goliath ps3 users can't participate because of "technical limitation"

I agree. This is so unfair. I don't see what technical limitations the ps3 has. Maybe they're just too lazy to do it on the ps3.

Seriously? We can't get the commendation packs or anything? That's crappy. Do we even get the victory pack if they accomplish it?

I though sony and ea had a great relationship..... Guess i was wrong. I want to know what these technical limitations are.

I dont know why we cant participate but last time I heard the PS3 is the superior system. So how can it be limited but not the Xbox?

To clarify, the charge is that this is a problem with Sony's policies, not their hardware.

Bioware seem to be utterly reluctant to state where the problem actually lies.
It sucks massive ass that us PS3 gamers get shafted. We paid the same price, are invested in the franchise and care the same, but we get......nothing.
I'd say the smoke, mirrors, ignorance and vagueries all point to this being Bioware's issue rather than sony's, or else they'd say "take it up with sony"
I'm beyond furious that we as a community don't get to take part, and keep getting passed over, i just hope a Bioware statement comes out to explain, or they'll start losing fanbase.

They don't care about PS3 users pure and simple, just look at the Mass Effect 3 Playstation 3 Technical Support forums vs 360 one, and how many mods have posted, Nuff Said.

Yet again we get shafted by Bioware and I bet we won't get compensated in any way by Bioware.

I've been asking on twitter only to see them skip over mine for the ones saying they enjoyed the endings.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but what is Operation: Goliath? This is the first I've heard about it although admittedly I went on a media blackout prior to release.

Support the PS3 community or we won't support you.
I will have no problems having ME3 be the last Bioware game I purchase new is they continue to treat loyal fans of the franchise like crap. Sick of having you take dumps in my mouth Bioware. First the stupid ending and now this.

"Irritating" is one word I'd use to describe the vast majority of this experience. Though that would be omitting a lot of other transgressions.
Prior to this fiasco, I was fairly happy with the game as a whole. A few questionable decisions, some game breaking bugs, but nothing I couldn't get around and expect a patch for eventually. I still had a certain level of trust in Bioware.
But this has been considerably... inconsiderate. Not only have they not addressed the "why" behind our exclusion from the event (technical limitations is unacceptable, as is the idea that the issue is due to Sony policy changes. Calling that a technical limitation seems like a whole other fiasco, but I refuse to put thought to that), but we haven't been given any answers as to whether we may expect compensation or involvement in future events, or if we may as well forget any inclusion whatsoever (an idea I'm reluctant to accept with the respect towards Bioware I have, or still have).
Even a simple "Just wait, we'll figure something out for you guys" or "You'll get the event next" or, really, anything, would be vastly more acceptable than the cold shoulder the PS3 community appears to be getting. And while I'm loathe to accept aggressive protestation or complaints to try and achieve this, it's starting to feel slightly warranted. At the moment though, I'd say the best plan is to still ask nicely, but continuously, about what plans they have, if any, for our side of the universe.
I can't honestly say there's any reason for them to not tell us anything at all aside from "technical limitations." It's akin to being nonverbally told to shut up. A command I would actually prefer to be verbalized from them instead, because then I'd know at least someone heard me.
In short, this is fairly awful. I've read a plethora of pages in threads where people have voiced similar worries, and have received no fair answer. The idea that we're being outright shunned is starting to grow a little too large.

Bull****.
Oh, well. I always knew the MP portion of the game would be a gimmick. I don't plan on sticking around. It's addictive, but because of stuff like this I just can't be bothered. Once I hit 5k kills I'm outta that ****.

I'm ok with this
At least they are being honest. Instead of promising us to be able to participate and then give us a low quality experience....... like they did with the full game.
