So, why is it that when I click through a search result on Google for an article posted here I get shot immediately to the front page of the forum? This is making the search results useless and is extremely poor behavior. Usually that is usually dealt with by banning the site from search completely.
I assume this behavior isn't intentional so would someone please fix the problem? Or am I missing something?
What is wrong with the Google search results for this forum?

Agreed.. someone screwed the pooch big time when they migrated the forums!
Pointing at the forum home must have been someones easy answer to avoiding a server log full of 404s

The reason for this is that Google has cached the forums and posts made on the forums well before it was migrated to the sub-forum system. Meaning, that many posts Google has cached are before the forum sub-form changes.
Posts made regarding the Toolset were done in the only Toolset forum available at the time and have now been migrated to the appropriate sub-forum that such a post relates to. It's been done across the board to better serve the community by offering sub-forums that make better use of the topics at hand.
So a post made in the old Technical Support forum regarding 360 would be cached by Google as existing in that forum but since a sub-forum was created for 360 technical questions, it was moved to that sub-forum. Google can no longer find that thread, since it now exists in the sub-forum. This is why it takes you to the home forum and not to the thread itself.
