Ask people if they want the option of actually using the Cruicible in another way.
I think it could work. Catalyst is trying to persuade Sheppy to use the Cruicible in the way they, the Reapers, think is correct. They think that's the only solution to Chaos. But there are obviously flaws in their reasoning (they even contradict themselves: they say organics are chaotic, so how come they believe that they will ALWAYS follow the same pattern?). So I think there hould be an extra part of the mission inside the citadel, where Sheppy is trying to search for old archives to find a way to use the Cruicible how Hackett intended in the first place: solely to destroy the Reapers, without Mass Relay destruction. The EMS we gathered in the game and decisions we made could determine how many losses there will be in the battle below (similar to ME2), while Shep is trying to figure out how to use Cruicible. This options, I think, should require the picked squad to teleport to the Citadel with Shepard. What do you think?
Also an nice way to put 1337 b055 b4ttl3 in the end.

Yo, can you add this option:

I already added the option to avoid mass relay destruction. Since Destruction and Control ending are essentially rejecting the C.'s "solution" . Adding the option to save the mass relays should make it into what you say, no?
Catalyst: " My solution won't work any more"

maybe sth. like "would be nice" and "dont care because" (some explanatory fields).
This poll is very unsatisfying in the options it presents me. "Choose one of the three below" seems like an oversimplification (kind of ironic to say this in a poll about how bad the ME3 ending was, isnt it?)

This is NOT a poll about how bad the ending was. If you want to post negative comments, post them somewhere else! This is for positive feedback. Constructive things that Bioware can actually implement. I just wanted to define an enveloppe of what's the bare minimum that has to be addressed so a majority of the fans will be happy.
In my opinion, raw negativity won't result in any actual change. This, just *might*. It's long odds, but it's the only odds we have.
It's good to have the "would be nice" things to, but frankly, that's outside the scope here. When you answer, consider you are in the shoes of the project director and that you are on a budget.

Note for further study: Should not post after half a bottle of single-malt Scotch.

i wasnt suggesting something along the line "YOUR ENDING SUXX YOU ALL SUCK"
etc., i was suggesting something along the lines: "in my oppinion this
point is moot because..." "i dont think this is relevant because", i
think you should offer a bigger variety of options instead of, as i said
before, "yes"/"no"/"dont care". otherwise evaluating that poll wont be
usefull at all. especially given that you are asking about different
ways to end the series (indoctrination/ logical continuation/rejection).
another resolution to this point would be to better formulate your questions
e.g.: "supporting indoctrination theory, do you think that .... should be done"
this way there is more structure to your poll. im not trying to be negative here im offering constructive criticism.
if you dont like that, ok thats your right, but please dont make me out as one of the haters and flamers whos just trying to be negative about everything.
EDIT:
reread your post,
i realized your allusion "This is NOT a poll about how bad the ending was" was a direct quote from me. apologies; you are right its about how to make the ending better (doesnt change the point i was trying to make though)
the "would be nice" is an option along the lines of "if you have the time and the money i would like to see that, but i do not neccessarily need it." an i think that is a very important one. some people might think this is sth. absolutely neccessary, while others dont really need it, but would like it to be there. it gives a better idea of what preferences fans have. especially as a contrast to "indifferent/unneccessary" (i know you most likely intended that one to be the "neutral" option, but since neutral means nothing will be done in this case, it wont work out that way). if you tell them the bare minimum, thats what you will get, and in my opinion, i do not believe that this is something that will make anyone happy. if you make a poll about such an important topic (to a lot of fans i might add) reducing things this far might only make things worse.
again, not trying to insult anyone and not trying to complain

Post Bumped.
Thank you OP for taking the time to organize.
Thank you Bioware for 99% of a great game and an amazing 1% to come... (just take the indoctrination theory and ruin with it. It's excellent!)

I could somewhat accept that Shepard would sacrifice him/herself - but if he/she knew that regardless which choice they made meant billions would die, my Shep would look for another way - with the choices that are given everyone dies, period... if Shep refuses to choose and takes of the Reapers/Harbinger there's always a chance he/she coiuld win and save everyone, even if that chance is small, it's still a chance.
I think there should be at least ONE ending where Shep survives and is reunited with his/her love interest. I think the fates of Shep and the various crew/species should be expained and shwere possible shown - hell I'd quite happy sit through a 30 minute video watching said explanation - I'd even buy that as a DLC.
The one thing I want is closure... the way it is now explains NOTHING really.
Plus, the decisions we've made over the course of three games have absolutely no influence over the end, despite us being told they would.

By the way, I've suggested one of the possible endings for the DLC in this topic: http://social.biowar...3145/1#10143446
Such ending is logical enough.

Dude, there's like thousand and one ideas on what would supposedly make for a better ending. That's why you should vote on the poll in THIS thread, really, since the point of it is to give Bioware an idea of exactly what people'd like to see changed about the ending.

I like the efforts with these surveys but no one at Bioware will take any survey done by the community on this site seriously. It's self-selection of a biased sample. There is no way to do a reasonable survey either because the only people with the information and means necessary to carry that out are Bioware themselves. Still, I appreciate what you are attempting.
Oh, you never know, they say that they listen to their fans after all, so let's give'em the chance
