Sort of off-topic but I find it funny that the first person who comes up with a way of statistically representing this has the avatar of a Salarian, hehe.

I'm pretty sure I've already posted here, and I hate being redundant. But at this point, I'm pretty sure that there's overwhelming amount of redundancy.
My take on what was wrong and what I think would make it better--well, let me first start off by saying I love this series. I love it, seriously. It makes me feel feelings, which I think is weird considering it's a science fiction video game, so I find that odd. But here we are. I'm on the Facebook Demand a better Ending page, and I post more than I thought possible. I always ask for cliff notes to see if there are any responses when I get home from work. And when I'm not working, I post at least half a dozen times to it. I tweet to encourage my fellow non-ending likers to "Hold the line," as been said a million times before. I think BioWare does great work. I have no interest in being rude or nasty or curse or just be a butthole. I don't think that gets us anywhere. But I"m getting rambly, so let me get back to what I was going for--my problems with the ending and what I think should change or be added.
First, working so hard to get the utmost galactic readiness and then the highest EMS seemed to mean nothing. If you kill the geth, that should affect the ending. If you cure the genophage or don't, that should affect the ending. These things should matter to the ending of the game. The god-child is just silly, I'm sorry, it just is. I actually really like the ideas of a possible indoctrination/hallucination/dreaming theory, and while I'm not a game developer, I don't know how well these could be implemented, or maybe they possibly are. There have been a lot of cryptic messages running around.
Second, I do want my Shepard to live. I do. She died once, why does she have to die again after she's worked so hard to get to this point? She deserves a happy life and retirement with her LI. But I'm a sap. It breaks my heart anytime the hero dies, even knowing it's a video game and not real. It's still heart-breaking. It's unfortunate. But now that the mass relays are gone, how will the other species get off Earth? Everyone will die. And why would Joker run? I'm lost. And how did your crewmembers get back on the Normandy?
I think there should be an expansion pack--not just DLC--that adds missions but also not really changes the ending, but adds new ones. Because some people are happy with the ending, but I think a wide majority is not.. And you should get to choose whether or not your Shepard lives or dies; this should be your decision. And the cop-out breath taken at the end doesn't mean a lot. She either is all kinds of alive, partying with Garrus, having romantic dinners with her LI, gossiping with Liara, or she's just gone. I have to be honest I will not purchase any DLC that doesn't surround the ending. I hear about new maps and DLC coming for MP, pass. I'm not interested if it's not part of the story. I've also heard rumors of a DLC where you help Aria take back Omega. That's a fun idea, but what's the point without a better ending?
And this is just an afterthought but something that I want to say anyway--I think there should be several DLC packs that you can purchase to expand your ME2 LI experience, and I don't mean necessarily that it's just a few points here and there, but you get a mission with them and then they're on your ship, although maybe not a part of the crew. But I would make these separately--there could be a Thane DLC, Miranda DLC, Jacob DLC, Jack DLC, et cetera. It would be a money maker. This is just a suggestion. I romanced Thane in ME2 and really liked him. And while I was sad to see him die, I was aware he had a terminal disease. But there is a story out there someone wrote where he gets cured with experimental treatment and while his blood didn't accept the treatment, his son's blood did and that cured him. It's a sweet idea. These are just afterthoughts to add to the story--a suggestion that you can take or dismiss. A girl can hope. Because while I prefer Kaidan, Thane is my second favorite LI.
Here's to hoping for a better ending.

I didn't like the options offered by the poll. But i do like the poll initiative.
I don't think we need to REMOVE things. What we need is to have an ending that MAKES sense.
Leaving the races stranded in their planets, specially that large fleet at earth, EDI shouldn't be allowed to go to earth if normandy is going to get a "adam and eve" start for "joker / edi".
I think the ending was really not very well thought of. Maybe they had something diferent in mind and had to rush it like KOTOR2. That's what it felt like.

voted. Whats up with underwear btw?
i think it has to do with the sex scene. as a mature adult, i am given to wonder how Shepard can have sex with any garments still on. like underwear. it does tend to get in the way.

I'm indifferent to most of the stuff that takes place during the ending. I'm actually okay with almost all of it. My issue is that we have no idea of the aftermath of this incredible galaxy-altering choice we've made. I want closure, I want to know what happens to civilization, and I want to know the wheres and whats of all the characters I've come to care about.
So, vote bump.
