In any case, I think one question was missing. Would you rather have the game present the end based on your past choices or have take your pick like we have now? I'd rather have the former. The end should reflect your choices instead of allowing you to take your pick.

BTW, would you mind doing some reporting on the situation as it stands?

It's just that implementing the indoctrination hypothesis as is would invalidate two of the options for the final choice. Which would mean I - and other players who prefer Control or Synthesis - would have to choose against their personal philosophy. So far Bioware has scrupulously avoided that, right down to the encounter with TIM. You are never forced to say "trying to Control the Reapers is wrong", instead the Renegade choice lets you say "You sacrificed too much for that goal". I find it hypocritical that players who complain about their choices not having any effect are ready to turn two choices they don't care for into "you lose" buttons, ruining the game for those who don't agree with them. Basically, it would be like the game telling me my personal philosophy is wrong.
So here's my suggestion:
If the Citadel sequence proves to be unreal and there is or will be more to it, there MUST be a GOOD way to go on regardless of the choice you make.
I know. Personally the "Indoctrination" theory makes me want to puke blood, but I had to include it for fairness' sake.
So far a simple epilogue focusing on "What happens to..." issues looks like it would already make a LOT of people happy, without rewriting the whole thing. Then maybe with a few additional choices and tweaks...

Hmm. Is the "If Sheaprd survives, show him together with his/her significat other" option popular? Are there more people in favor for removing the Normandy crash thing altogether, or does most people just seem to want it better explained?

The ratios seem to have stabilized since I last checked.
Can everyone see the summary graphs? I still haven't found a way to share them directly so you have to open the results grid first and go to Form => Show summary.
https://docs.google....IxbVFZSFE#gid=0
Now out of 1340 respondents.
- 96% of people loved the rest of the game apart from the ending (Choices 1 and 2)
- 87% find the ending unsatisfactory (4 and 5)
- 77% want the Catalyst dialogue to provide better explanation of your choicees and their consequences.
- 72% have a major issue with the "destroy organics to protect them" logic and want that taken out and replaced.
- A surprising 83% want to be able to reject the catalyst's choices and fight it out through conventional warfare.
- People can generally accept the idea of Shepard dying. Only around 30% want a way to save him in Control/Synthesis.
- Indoctrination theory proponents still stands at 60%. Seriously?
- 85% want the consequences of destroying the relays to be better explained. Around 60% want a path to save the relays, with the highest proportion of respondents in the "Destruction" ending.
- Still in "Destruction", 60% think EDI and the Geth must be spared.
- Still don't know what to do with the Normandy scene. About 50% of respondents want it both deleted AND explained. Over 90% of respondents picked at least one of the two options. With "Explain it better" being the slightly more popular one at 76% vs 71%.
- Shepard reunited with LI (if he survives): 87% think this is a must have.
- All the "What happens to..." options now stand over 90%, with "What happens to the crew while Shepard is on the Citadel?" now reaching 95%! Should I include a question about what form this should take? Text, narration, vid?
- Only 34% insist on an ending DLC being completely free.
A little note here: I deliberately worded the questions to be polarizing, as in "MUST do this" rather than : "I think it would be cool if..."
In spite of that, a significant number of respondents still answer "Must!" to almost all questions. I guess people just feel that strongly about the ending.
Thanks to all who responded so far! We have some clear trends emerging and the numbers are now very statistically significant.
Some good comments also in the form, I will try to sort through that and post selected ones.

That bit was a bit confusing.,.. I picked both because I'd like to see it deleted, BUT if Bioware decides to keep it, then the least they could do is to explain it - as it is now, we have little to no clue why Joker leaves the Sol system or how/why our squadmates can be there as well...

This is important: I'd like to know if there is some kind of consensus on this, because this is what determines what bioware CAN actually do about it?
The Bioware people aren't stupid: If they can make a few simple changes to the ending that will satisfy 80% of people, they probably will.
If no matter what they change it will only satisfy 20-30% at best, or if they have to rewrite the whole game, well, they probably will just give up.
So here's the poll. I'm trying to be as fine-grained as possible here, so if you suggest new options I'll add them too.

Be honest, be realistic, don't submit multiple times it won't achieve anything.
And here's the summary of responses.

Click on Form / Show summary of rseponses to view the graphs. Sorry I don't know how to share the graphs directly!
I would rewrite the existing ending to be the worst possible ending, but at least make a bit of sense (like Shepard orders Joker to take the fleet to a safe distance cuz he doesn't know wtf will happen when he activates the Crucible). After that I would include an option that if you've saved both the Geth and the Quarians, and EDI and Tali are both alive, that you radio the Normandy and get the combined might of the most brilliant cybernetic minds in the galaxy hack the living crap out of starchild who is obviously the lead Reaper and overload them all. Yeah the Citadel would be destroyed, and one of the endings could include Shepard dying on the station (another could have him get rescued)... but at least it's a victory.
Oh now THAT is awesome.
