Bleh, it's only for those who allow their stats to be tracked. The percentages can't be taken literally.

I find it dumb that soldiers must be shooter fans, according to that article.

I hate shooters, and I play soldier.

Playing ME3 as a Soldier makes me wonder why I didn't just buy Gears of War. There's nothing wrong with you for liking it, but if a world contains magic, I'm going to use said magic.

Evolved right the Vangaurd is ridiculously over powered.

Charge with a <2 second cool down and full barrier restoration, double pull with a 1 second cool down to set up detonations, 200% cool down with just the Eviscorator V, maxed melee damage.

By the time Nova's animation is finished charge is reset. Weapons are absolete.

So. Overpowered. I luvs it.

Why is Sentinel so low? It's the jack of all trades.

But they're so boring.

In ME1, they sucked at dealing damage, they might as well have been named "Support class."  They got a defensive niche in ME2, but they still don't excel at anything except living.  I guess now they have that duel wielding Omniblade thing going for them, but that's about it.

Right? I would have at least assumed Adepts would be at least around the 30% mark.

I think every other class is too hard for the mainstream gamer.

That being said, Vanguard & Adept all the way.  My two favorite classes.  For now anyways, but Adept will always be #1.  Biotic Explosion AoE is FTW. Now THAT is space magic!:wizard:

Well, yeah I played my female paragon Adept from ME1.

I started another game with Engineer but I don't know, in comparison to the Adept they seem weak. Yeah they can take care of any defense, but so can Adepts. Besides it is much easier for Adepts to set up Biotic-combos (thanks to Liara, you rocked my world girl).

Infiltrator's the best. I was surprised it was so low as well. If I had to guess, it has a lot to do with having more than two weapons. Proficiencies for the other classes were terrible for the other classes in the previous games.

I'm suspicious of those stats. Everyone I know including myself, plays FemShep and we have only one gamer in the group. Also Vanguards and Adepts are popular as hell too.

The only thing that doesn't surprise me is the low Engineers number. Engineers were boring and subpar in ME 1, the stigma carried over.

My Shep is a female vanguard, i'm seriously underrepresented. I've played through a lot of times but I always preferred mixed classes, adrenaline is nice but I'm shocked there are that many soldiers.

I use mine to tank in Co-Op. Run in, draw fire. Melee some creeps. Get out.

I agree that in ME1 they were much more in the way of support and not a balance of defense and offense.

I'm sorry, I can't hear the soldiers over all my Biotic-Charging, Falcon-Heavy-Melee-Punching, Group-Decimating-Novaing Antics.

Vanguard is an absolute riot. Gameplay moves so freaking fast, and on insanity it's heart poundingly intense knowing you could be one bad charge away from death.

I'm surprised there aren't more Vanguards. I've tried several classes, but Vanguard is still the most fun and versatile and badass class IMO...Charging into a group of enemies, Nova'ing them to death, then biotic-melee-slam the 1 or 2 remaining foes. Oh, and using double-pull and then shockwave to blast them to pieces. Or using SMG + Cryo Ammo to ice-ify a group of enemies and then shatter them all with a shockwave or nova.

Never. Gets. Old.

I have 5 Shepards, 4 of them are women, Adept, Infiltrator, Engineer, Sentinel.
These are my "main" Shepards, theyre all different Paragon, Renegade, Mixture, Paragon with a different LI than the other one XD

And then i have a guy, which i only created after i found out Tali was a LI on ME2, if not for that, i would never have played with a male Shepard, and i still find it really hard to do. His voice and.... i dont know, overall he doesnt feel like Commander Shepard, i just cant picture a guy, hes a vanguard btw.

All my characters come from ME1, even thou the guy was only made after going throu 4 playthroughs in ME2.... hes always the last XD

.... So much wasted time looking back now.... T_T

I played as an engineer in multiplayer if that counts for anything. ;(
Because, y'know, overload spam.

My main Shepard is a soldier though and I guess some see that as boring, apparently I'm a "shooter fan", altough I'll assume they meant nothing bad by it. But yeah, it just makes sense for the kind of character I envisioned.

In Fantasy games I play a Warrior, cause hitting things is boss. :wizard:
