I much prefer (and play) male Sheps to female Sheps, yet I enjoy both. I also do not like Soldier that much. Infiltrator/Vanguard are my favorites. That said, the stats are not surprising.

If thats based on with console then I can understand. Playing this game on console is retarded. I couldn't play any other class but Soldier properally until I got it for PC. ME1 Solider was my fav. ME2 Sentinal is my fav with Infiltrator behind it. ME3 Infiltrator is my fav. Infiltrator puts the word "Insanity" to shame. One shots everywhere.

I love the biotic characters. Most recently using Sentinal for the extra shields and overload. In ME2 using throw on a husk was practically an insta-kill. Plus, once you get the two throws in ME3, it's fun just tossing around enemies while I wait for the team mates to finish them off.

I tried soldier as my first character in ME1, but I really didn't like just running and gunning. Once I could use lift or singularity with an Adept, the game got a lot more interesting.

FemShep Adept is my canon Shep and I dare anyone to call her squishy to her face ;)

Prior to ME3, I only played adepts as well.

However, I tried vanguard in multiplayer and Biotic Charge + Nova or Melee was simply too much fun so I started the singleplayer campaign over as a vanguard.

I play soldier. I am a one-man army.

I'm a Sniper Infiltrator.. Their army is dead before they see me. B)

I like that they can see their death coming.

I'm surprised to see so many Soldiers, easily least fun class to play imo. I also assumed femshep players would be higher give Hales much better performance.

First run, I was a male soldier. I admit it.

Second, female infiltrator.

Third, female... everything. I played as an engineer in ME1, then switched to sentinel in ME2, then back to infiltrator in ME3.

The only thing I haven't tried is adept/vanguard, but that's just because the concept seems silly. Having Shepard as the best biotic on a team with asari and genetic freaks almost makes her sound like a Mary Sue. I'd prefer to have her excel in other areas, and just bring a biotic of some sort on missions to balance things out.

Although, I admit my main was always the Male Soldier . Can't stay away my core I guess as I always go for Warrior , berserker types.

Where is my infiltirators btw ?!

One cloaked shot and BAM ...it's down.....

Vanguard was terrible in ME2 tough, Charge was useless in higher difficulties. Glad they changed that, and that I gave it a try in ME3.

Eh? For me, Charge was only good in higher difficulties. I want to stagger my enemies then blow their faces off with my shotgun, not send them flying!

Edit: I do not like the removal of shields from all enemies on the highest difficulties in ME3. Purely because of the effect it has on my Charge. I'm selfish like that... I found it much, much easier to take down Centurians than Assault Troopers because I could finish them in melee range rather than having to run after their ragdoll corpses!

You really have to try a vanguard at least once.

It is the most fun out of all the classes. Your biotic charge instantly teleports you around the battlefield, replenishing your shields every time you charge into an enemy.

It's a shame, I never play as the Knight/Soldier/Tank, it the most generic and boring in my opinion.

Custom female Infiltrator reporting in.

Nothing like scope and dropping with the Black Widow while wearing the mask in my avatar.

Finally my Shepard can look like a true assassin.

It's all about Infiltrator and one shot cloaked kills. Although I will admit, Vanguard can be a lot of fun. 65% play soldier? This hurts me.

I play as an engineer and the combat drone in insanity is a life saver, annoys the enemies and by the time it dies i can cast another.

Female Engineer, always. I tried playing an Adept male once, and I just couldn't get into it.  I also made my Shepard (same one through all three) look a bit rough around the edges with a hint of prettiness.  But I thought as she was an orphan on earth and soul survivor, she wouldn't look that pretty.  I wanted her to be real.

I rolled with Recon Hood and Hahne-Kedar armor on my Engineer. My Drone was already strong enough. xD

I do like engineers - much moreso in ME3 than it's preceding iterations. I love the new deployable turret ability. My general preference in ME3's classes so far would be:

Infiltrator, Adept, Engineer, Vanguard, Sentinel, Soldier.

But yes, engineer is unappreciated. :|

I always play as soldier. i like to shoot stuff and not depend on others to do my work for me.

i generally always take Talia and Liara with me when available to take both anyway. I only take other squadmates to make some variety, but I almost always play the same way...even when playing femshep. ME2 threw a slight wrench in, but Samara is a nice stand in for Liara, and Garrus tags along for funny talk...

In case this wasn't pointed out earlier, the stats about gender preferences appear to refer only to X360 profiles. That isn't really all that surprising, because (speaking rapidly) xboxusersareallmouthbreathingignorantsavages.

Why even do that?

Besides that statement says far about you than Xbox gamers. I should know I am one, and my nose works just fine.
