Engineer all the way. Not all can appreciate the subtle badassery of making an attack drone appear behind your opponent and cattle prod their ass out of cover.

I'm playing a female engineer for my second play through.

Female adept was the most fun I've ever had in a third person videogame. Sentinels, Engineers, and Adepts are the most fun classes, I find. I have no idea why so many people pick infiltrator.. no skill time slowdown headshots over and over again would make me more bored than anything.

Sad to see Engineers having such a low number...:crying:

I'm surprised Infiltrators and vanguards are so low.. Everyone knows we rock Soldiers.

And I play only those two classes (in multiplayer as well) ...

I play the Infiltrator for the Inferno ability. Nothing like lighting everything on fire. Kinda useless when dealing with geth but that's what my overload specialists are for.

All FemSheps (26 of them), tried all careers, but mostly are Engineers, then Adepts, then Sentinels.
1 is a soldier. Tried to play as a MaleShep 3 times, dropped those runs after few missions (1 most lasting was only 2 hours old before I deleted him). Prefer Jennifer Hale much more because I actually feel the emotions in her voice.

FemShep Engineer = Hell Yeah!!!!! :)

My 4th Shepard was a male soldier. The previous 3 were female vanguard/infiltrator/adept. I actually had the hardest time playing as the soldier. Maybe I just suck at shooting things and would rather use abilities?

Soldier/Inflitrator always MaleShep

I'm a little sad to say, because I do enjoy Jennifer Hale's voice work when I look at videos online, and I think I would enjoy biotics if I could get into them more, it's more or less that I've always had one image of my Shepard, and he fits better as a soldier than a biotic, and he's a he.

Blame it on 14 year old me who picked up ME1 and said "Wicked, I want an assault rifle" and never even thought to play as anything else. Heck I barely even used my squad's biotic powers until I played it through again. Then I got attached to my character too much to start over.

*le shrug*

I have done two playthroughs...both male and am working on a third one with a male. I don't really like engineers...biotics are the way to go (vanguard and adept).

How does the vanguard class work exactly. I've seen videos of people playing vanguard but it seems very easy to... run into walls.

Vanguard was terrible in ME2 tough, Charge was useless in higher difficulties. Glad they changed that, and that I gave it a try in ME3.

Wasn't if you memorized the layout and number and types of enemies that would appear through multiple playthroughs.

You are the 0.000005%. Sheesh.

Hale does do many of the lines with a lot more UNF, but I can't play a Femshep.

I'd be running into walls and dying all over the place each time I lose my concentration from all teh squatting.

....bunz for the CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE.

Female Engineer, actually.

Although I have six Shepard, FemShep Engineer is my "canon" one.

Female Vanguard right behind it. Vanguard is very, very fun.

Engineer is just ridiculous though. Turret with flamethrower, drone with rockets. Watch enemies die.

You teleport through the walls and objects. As long as you can get a fix on your target, when you hit the Biotic Charge button, you will instantly move to the targets location, deal a lot of damage and force and recharge your shields to 100% or 50% (depending on how many points you have in Biotic Charge).

A common technique is to use biotic charge (charges your shields), then nova (which depetes your shields and boosts recharge), then biotic charge again.

You can keep hitting biotic charge to refill your shields as you take on an Atlas, Brute, Ravager, Banshee, etc. Whenever your shields get low, you just need to hit any target.

Essentially, you want to carry light weapons (phalanx or scorpion pistol with piercing mod + improved barrel is my favorite), aim for +200% power recharge speed and max out Biotic Charge as quickly as you can.

I imagine so, Biotic Charge is the whole point of the vanguard class. That's what makes it fun to play IMO.

It would be like playing a sniper without using a sniper rifle, or an adept without using warp or singularity.

I play as a femshep vangaurd paragon. also did a couple runs as femshep infiltrator paragon in ME2. snipe!! I find the voice acting is better with a femshep. seems to have more depth and feeling. the male shep seems to talk a bit to fast...like he is trying to hurry and get somewhere. I wanna slow down and smell the roses...lol

also...if I am gonna run around for 40 hours as a PC...I wanna look at something lovely!

I've played one run in ME2 as a male shep...and will maybe do one run in ME3 as a male shep...just to try it out.

if I can stomach more runs thru ME3 that is.

but jeez...those numbers...so many as male soldier? I would have thought it would be more spread out. I thought the guys mostly liked shooters like gears of war or something and not a sci fi story based rpg that also has some shooting.

but what the eff do I know...lol! I preordered CE! lol

I meant the spamming of Charge/Nova for what basically apparently amounts to invincibility.  Of course I used Charge; I just treated it like ME2 I guess.

Hey, I play as a femme!Shep sentinel!

I would like to know where they got their statistics.

Also engineer is great, I'm only playing sentinel because I wanted to try something new.
