I finished the campaign and was trying to play some multiplayer, but it keeps giving me a read error when I try to join a friend's game. It tells me to wipe the disc/restart my console but I keep getting the error. I've been playing on disc 2 but hopefully this problem won't affect my SP when I try to play through it again. 

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

my disc 1 and my friends as well just quit working for mp says cannot read disc worked great for first week then just stopped but disc 2 still works

Wow so its not just me either. Thanks for posting this.

I also had the EXACT same problem happen approximately the same time as this post, while I was able to switch to disc 2 and have no problems playing MP, its still worrying considering there are ZERO scratches (I'll take video/photo if necessary) on the disc AND its actually installed to the hard drive so there is no reason the disc should matter at this point.

Definitely must have been something they updated today. I have the ME3 Collectors Edition for Xbox 360 (for info purposes).

Hope this is fixed, because I'm worried its only a matter of time before disc 2 stops working as a substitute.

Been reading back through the post and sounds like its the from ashes dlc . they say to delete it and reintall and should work fine .i haven't tried yet but hope its the cure....

I've had that problem only it's been in single player when you have to change the disk. It starts working about four or five times of removing and replacing it.
