 This is the best game I have ever played in my entire life. Sure it has flaws, but I had a better experience with it than with any ohter game.

Mhhh.... subjective or objective? Objective: 9/10. Easily. Subjective: 4/10, I just cant handle the ending. Its not that relevant if only seen objectively, but I personally cant stand it....

I'm willing to overlook the animation issues, the journal, annoying fetch this side missions, etc. because the majority of the game was great.

People giving the game less than a 5 are outright idiots. If you thought it was that bad you wouldn't have played it enough to complete it yet. And yes I hate the endings, but it's not enough to say the whole game is complete crap.

And by the way, ratings are useless and we shouldn't be giving them out.

Imagine if it wasn't a game in a trilogy. if you weren't vestedin the characters. Basically ifi t were the first game as opposed to the third. 

Make the ending based on that. On how the game performs and in what state it is. Those animation and cutscene issues, problems with control, bad quest log and a slew of other things would under other circumstances really throw the whole thing down.

Ugh... ive never had such a hard time... on one side, its one of the best games i have ever played.... on the other, it completely destroys not only itself with the ending, but also the two games that came before.... and i guess that bases on that alone, i would rate it a:

If i turn off after Shepard falls down with her "What do you need me to do?"

Then id give it a 8.7, still not what i was told it would be by the developers, but at least it wouldnt completely destroy anything....

If it did have multiple endings, ones based on our choices, and conclusions?
Well, then , itd be a nearly perfect game (because nothing will ever be perfect), id give it a 9.6, and from me thats a whole of a lot.

I honestly think ratings detracts from what is good about a game and what is bad. Just because a rating is a 10/10 then it does not mean everyone will go "**** YEAH SPARKLE SPARKLE SPARKLE". People should be able to pick out from a review or whatever whether or not they like the game or not based on the information given. But meh. Ratings...

8/10. I would give it a perfect 10/10 if the ending got fixed. It is a stellar game with smooth cover-based shooting mechanics, great weapon and power customization, and while the lack of dialogue choices is a minus then the epic story more than makes up for it. As usual in Bioware games the events and especially the characters makes you invested in this game and while some of them die in this game their deaths are done to perfection. It is not an "oh no" screen like during the SM in ME2, but rather heartfelt and emotional scenes that only adds to their characters.

9/10 prior to ending. One point off for the journal issues, and having the only quest hub be very boring and isolated sections of the citadel. I very much missed the flow of being able to walk from area to area rather than taking that blasted elevator. Should have had at least one other world we could free range for quests on also.

I can't provide an accurate rating after the ending. The ending was so bad that it knocked points off of previous games. If I included that in the score it would be in the negatives.

I'm still holding out that they will change it though. At that time I will forget the whole ordeal and be able to provide a full rating.
