A soild 8 out of 10. Great game with a bad ending. Some minor issue, but it could have been far worse.

8.5 - I love the multiplayer and the campaign but the ending is the tripping point on an otherwise very good game.

It was a solid game, entertaining for 80% of its content.
But the bugs and ending cost it dearly.

Not counting the very end: 9/10
- The game overall is really awesome, not *perfect in every way*, but still awesome. Little annoyances like heads turning at weird angles and Shepard getting stuck for no apparent reason (especially when trying to speak with Joker for some reason) pile up enough to mar the experience a bit.
With the Beginning of the End (meaning the final battle on Earth before reaching the Citadel): 7/10
- The final battle is exciting, but doesn't do a very good job of giving you a concrete notion of your war assets and efforts over the course of the game. I was hoping to see kakliosaur-riding krogans, swarming Rachni soldiers, asari dreadnoughts battling reapers, elcor "living tanks" and volus bombing squads. But it seems the war assets don't have any concrete visual impact on that battle like I had hoped/expected.
With the Very End (Citadel sequence/Starchild etc.): 5/10
- End sequence turned something great into something "meh." All the arguments about plot holes, logic, consistency and closure aside, the very end totally kills the mood. Up until then, the mood of the game was tense, visceral, pulse-pounding and nerve-wracking. The very end sequence is so abrupt and unexpected and mellow, that by the end any sensation of visceral emotion had died down to just a sort of perplexed "hmmm" *strokes chin*. Not exactly the epic finale the game was building toward in an emotional sense.

9/10 - I'm taking a bit off for the endings. Even though I'm okay with them, I think there should have been more exposition about certain things.

I'd say about 3/10. Up until the ending I would have given it 8/10. Good, but not great. All the times the game decided how I was supposed to feel about events without any input from me kept it from being great (e.g. the creepy kid from the beginning, Kaidan/Ashley's beatdown at the hands of Dr. Eva, etc). Also some of the cut scenes annoyed me, especially when they force Shepard, the elite, galaxy-saving supersoldier, to suddenly become incompetent so that something bad can happen (e.g. almost all of the cut scenes with Kai Leng). These were generally offset by some of the very touching moments like the scene with Liara and her time capsule, the fun combat, and the great music and voice acting. Overall, I had a good time, and would have remembered the game favorably... if not for the ending.
It may sound petty, but the ending was so horrendously incongruous that whenever I think of the game, I have to work really hard to remember anything other than the burning hatred that the last few minutes elicited from me. As such, what would otherwise be a decent game, with some really good moments, basically implodes bizarrely at the end, leaving me annoyed and feeling as though I wasted 30 hours of my life and 60 dollars.
Sooooo... 3/10

3/10 too many glitches, crap side quests, the ending, and such. The visuals during cut scenes is nice though.

Lost points for: The ending, the photoshopped photos, the seemingly pointless resolution of most of the game's bigger choices (Rachni Queen, Quarian/Geth war, etc)

Ultimately, I'd still give it an 7.5/10. Ending aside there was some nit pick things I have, but that's just what they are nit pick. And the game previous to said ending was actually quite enjoyable.
Despite this though, my faith in Bioware has been shaken. I'll be much much more careful in buying from them in the future.
