9.5/10
Honestly my only complaint aside from the ending is graphical bugs. People disappearing in the middle of a conversation or the camera pointing in the wrong direction makes for some groan-worthy moments. Fix the bugs and add a proper ending (yes I'm a believer in the indoctrination theory) and honestly Mass Effect 3 is exactly what I want out of a video game; the complete package. Shame that it came so damn close to Bioware's masterpiece.
And, really, people who are claiming that the ending dropped your rating of the game down multiple points...what the hell? Yes, it's disappointing, but how can you allow 10 minutes of nonsensical exposition ruin 20-30 hours of something you seriously enjoyed? Not to mention the other 40-odd hours of preceeding games. A bad or weird ending can't ruin an entire series for me; it might tarnish it, but it doesn't make me any less able to go back and enjoy the parts I enjoyed again, or maintain the great memories I had of it. I don't suddenly hate the first season of Lost after the bizarre and head-scratching finale in season six.
I guess it's your loss. I don't think less of ME1, 2 or even the first 32 hours I spent in 3 because of a 10 minute acid trip at the end of the game. I play for the journey, not the destination, and while I know that sounds cliche, it's just the truth, and I can stomach an incomplete or bad ending and move on without throwing my hands in the air and proclaiming the death of a series I had cherished 15 minutes earlier.
