Ignoring the ending, 7.5 to an 8.

Before Ending - 9.6, few bugs and minor annoyances but I loved it.

After Ending - 0/10, I found absolutely nothing enjoyable about that ending.

9/10 a good game and I guess I was shielded from the shock of the ending as a few friends had already told me what it was like.Still, the ending was more weird than bad imo but it does cut a dent in the final tally.

Would be a 9-9.5 out of 10, but the end destroys all replay value and I think that's a big part of the Mass effect charm, so 8/10.

6/10 with the current ending. I guess without the ending, I'd go with an 7.5-8/10.
The rest of the game is great, with only a few complaints. Upon thinking about it, it's still not better than ME2.

Almost there, but bugs really get in the way sometimes, like on Rannoch when Shepard hand Tali the rock, its just air. And some converstaions end before all the dialogue is read.

The bugs, poor framerate(PS3 ver.) plotholes, failed expectations, and the terrible ending that retroactively kills the replay value of the entire series.....a 6/10 is the best I can give it.

There are a lot of factors that count towards a review, not just how the game ends.

People used to love OJ Simpson.  Look how that ended.

One bad thing can undo everything.

Oh but there's a major difference there, like.. I don't know.. he KILLED TWO PEOPLE.
