Mark is a bit... wooden.. no matter the situation it seems.. that includes even being near death.. And romance, who needs to show emotion concerning that?

Both are great, but at the start in ME1 Hale wasn't as good. She improved in ME2, and now she easily matches or exceeds Mark Meer. A tie in my mind, until BioWare fixes the face-imports so I can play my MaleShepard, damnit. Then I'll know for sure how they stack up.
When Hale eliminated her customary breathy hissing for the character in ME3, I became sold. I never needed a Commander Marilyn Monroe. So much better now.
