It felt like a episode of Maury Povich.

LOL! They are.
They need to take a class on sterotypes. As a black person I was rather pissed at the whole Jacob thing. I did not romance him but it was a cheap shot.
Also Vaga dose not need to say "loco" all the time!

Wait, what? This is absurd. Jacob was never in love with Shepard, they were a hookup. He fell in love with Brynn, and they're having a kid together. He's WITH the woman he got pregnant. How is that stereotypical of anything?

Jacob didn't cheat on anyone in my game.
This is probably accurate.MACharlie1 wrote...
Hm.
Has anyone considered the fact that it was coincidental that the black man cheated on his girl? I admit it's an unfortunate implication but I don't think it was done purposefully. It was done because Jacob was the most disliked and boring character in ME2 and they had no way of continuing the relationship in an adequate job. So they trashed it.

gurl no
sit down
he was written to say "i love you" in the romance
and no he didn't "do" any of those things, bioware mistreated his character arc because they didn't feel inclined to spend resources on another less popular female romance
don't try to act like this was thought out anymore than that

Grow up?
He clearly said he loved her. It was cheating the only black love intrest plays right in to a sterotype. Don't tell me to grow up, it was wrong and racist.
*gif of black kid saying "thats racist!*

You do NOT speak to me that way, child. Anyone who thought the Jacob romance had depth in ME2 was really projecting. It wasn't exactly Titanic.

In his defense, TItanic had a pretty shallow love story too. Nobody falls in love that badly in three days....Siansonea II wrote...

Listen: it's pretty sad when a man can't be written as a jerk without it being racist because he happens to be a black man. Thats basically what your saying - you can't write a cheating man if he's black because it's racist. <_<
