I have just played Origins through and have started Witch Hunt.
I have met  Finn in the Tower.
He is naked (well almost) and has no weapon. He states that he is a Mage (Spirit Healer) and has mage-like abilities but when I try to give him a staff or robes he seems to be a warrior - with a strenght of 17! Not enough to wear simple leather armour.
He fights the battles in his underwear wielding a dagger. Not very useful
Is this a bug? How do I fix?

He is naked? What? This is what Finn should look like when you meet him. If he doesn't, my guess is, bug: http://www.gamebansh...anions/finn.php

Also, Finn in a thong? Whoa, disturbing. You have my sympathies.

Looks like you're on PC - any chance you have some mods installed that affect NPCs' equipment and/or appearance and/or stats? Because that is *definitely* some sort of bug.

I am guessing here but do you have a stand alone mods such as improve atmosphere, sir gilmore in awakening or quest and legend?

I'm having this exact problem. Finn is naked and it is not possible to give him any mage equipment. Does no one know how to fix this? I also had a headless, naked Ariane but that seemed to correct itself after a few reloads. Not this Finn problem though.

Yes, it's a bug, but how do I fix it? I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled, then gone through the painful process of downloading Witch Hunt again. Still...naked Finn.

It only seems to happen with the character I have already used in Awakening.

If it's a pc it either needs a patch or possibly as suggested it's being caused by a mod you're using, so you would have to figure out which mod it is.

Thanks. Have restarted the game and it seems to have sorted itself out.
