I know this has been brought up before for PC tech support, but just wanted to know if anyone was having this same issue for the PS3 version of the game. So right before the part with the catalyst, we have a conversation with the illusive man and when i get to the end of that conversation, both paragon and renegade choices are greyed out and not available. I'm pretty sure that i have my reputation bar completely maxed out as a full-on paragon, but i'm just wondering if this was a bug or glitch of some kind in the game.

Did you only use Paragon for every dialog. Most likely there is a hidden calculation based on how many paragon vs renegade points you could have had at that point, same as in ME2.
I could not select either one as well. Trying out a second play to see if I can get it. Renegade however does not seem to work for all dialogs ie Diana Allers you need Paragon to get her on board (not recall if it adds points or not)

I don't know how it works, but I picked the Paragon option every time I talked to TIM and I got the last one.

Same thing happened to me. I wasnt sure it was a glitch as for both games i only picked the paragon option and my paragon and repuation was maxed out.

I read in the Strategy guide that you HAVE to use all Paragon options when you talk to TIM every time you meet him in ME3... The only thing is I am sure I used every blue option when I talked to him, and I had the same problem, also my Paragon bar was 95% full with minimal Renegade taking up the rest.

That's weird, I had access to these options at the end of the game.
My rep bar was full (i'd say 90% Paragon 10% Renegade)
As you said, according to the guide, you have to use the blue/red options when you meet him to have them available at the end of the game, though it's worth mentioning that the guide is quite crappy so there might be other requirements to unlock them.
