very nice review. Far superior in writing than the Ign AU review.

You can tell this reviewer is a true RPG gamer with his closing comments:
"Bioware’s achievements in all this are incredible. It cannot be stressed enough at the depth of the universe they have conjured. Every corner you look, there is a sense of age, of something old. Entire mythologies for multiple cultures have been brewed up, entire religions mapped out in their own belief systems, history that stretches back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Cities look lived in, worn – majestic and squalid places that spill with times gone by and a sense of place. The castles look like they have been there for centuries, and truly, there is an uncertain sense that they have been. That Ferelden and its inhabitants were waiting patiently in the wings for all this time, waiting for their chance to shine. Well, like the Grey Wardens, their time has come. Let us unite then, and in the words of an old friend: We shall show those cursed Darkspawn our hearts – and then show them theirs. " -IGN UK

Great review, more than passing the time until it releases that just makes me want even more desperately to play the game

My confidence in IGN is restored following the shambles of a review from IGN AU. I always take note of what IGN say because more often than not they are spot on and this new review makes the game sound absolutely superb!
"Lasting Appeal
Words like epic don't do it justice"

Just goes to show how much personal bias and preference can influence these reviews.
I greatly liked this one, and as a diehard RPG fan I feel that my interests and tastes are close to this reviewers. Hope the game lives up to the hype I'm starting to feel...

Yeah the AU reviewer really came across as someone who either didn't like RPG's or didn't understand them. I'm still holding out for the a reliable 360 review as my PC is a pile, but the UK review certainly brightened my day

Good review in my opinion...actually Dragon Age Origins had a lot of great reviews and that speaks of its quality...definetely going to buy it as soon as it comes in shops (which may take a while since I live in Romania where piracy is a problem for all shops dealing in PC games)
