laziest piece of crap I've ever seen personally...it does not even make sense...she has no opertunity in this game to take this damn photo anyway...even if she did she wouldn't take her whole damn suit off just to pose for something like that...just one more thing about this game that lacks all logical sense.

To be fair I'm not fussed, if someone romances Tali they do it without seeing her face anyway so it would all be based upon less superficial aspects regardless.

Yeah everyone know's that "you can't please everyone".

I would not have minded them taking the stock photo for inspiration and building a 3d design for Tali from there, but literally all they did was hack off some fingers in photoshop and added a few markings to the woman's face. Tali isn't one of my favorite characters so it doesn't bother me too much, but it is still surprising to see how little effort went into the reveal of her face.

 I've said this before, but I was happy with how she looks. We could already see her nose, eyes, and other small facial features behind her mask. It showed that she was clearly very human-looking. While I'm not overly impressed with the photoshopped picture, it is more than appropriate.

True. Though I would have prefered her be purple or something. I honestly thought she was a purple skinned human with 3 fingers on each hand and 2 toes on each foot. (purple mask made me think that). always thought it was inclear because of gas that somehow looked purple because of her skin colour.

Yes. This is what I talked about. This is a good example of random fan using his/her imagination and result is gorgeous, so to speak. Pretty enough for human standards and still definetly alien. If something like this made by Bioware (and I mean not exactly this but something they come up with and actually design and create) would have been the photo Tali gives you, I wouldnt complain a damn thing and would ignore the possible threads complaining about her as random dissapointed fanboys because she doesnt look like the girl of her dreams...

So is the one on the wallpaper that was going around- it looks quite a bit more human, for those who'd like that one. Just google epic fanart mass effect wallpaper.

Either one blows BW's attempt out of the water.

He said a lot of time and effort would be put into it. Even you like the face I don't think you can make the claim taking a stock photograph and editing it slightly ranks as that.

Tbh they should've took the time that they spent on making EDI a PC into making a face for Tali if they were going to do it at all. Sorry, but EDI was pretty useless in the game besides the awkward relationship with Joker. Make Joker a romance for Femshep so she'll have some more options, leave EDI alone, and use those resources on unmasked or lightly masked Tali.

There's already a lot of talk about the disappointment over Tali's reveal. I don't see the purpose of you doing this unless you're trying to stir up trouble or hostilities toward Evil Chris.

With an element like unmasking Tali everyone should know that not everybody is going to like it; I didn't romance Tali so it doesn't matter to me anyways.

Gotta agree with this...the whole EDI thing was just....stupid as hell imo....I NEVER use her...for like...anything...

Nope read what I wrote earlier in the thread I actually agree with him on everything except for the team will do a good effort on the reveal thing.

I completely agree on the rest of the statement so not evil Chris but reasonable Chris just wanted to point that out.

I have been a jerk but my anger has finally subseeded I just want this go peacefully and point out the funny things.

This was basicly to show that he cannot be blamed for anything of the stuff we don´t like in the game.

I liked the picture. I dont care if they used a photo from the internet.

And no, I would personally not keep Tali masked. It was getting really frustrating not knowing what was behind there. Im hoping for a real in-game Tali in a DLC.

I felt the reveal was fine.

Stock photos are meant for this especially since this was one of the later decisions to be made.

I don't know about that.  There's been enough discussion and fan art in the years since ME2 that the staff at Bioware have been witnesses to that they could've easily come up with something that would've at least fairly satisfied the Tali fans.

While I don't mind the picture necessarily (I'm a hardcore Tali fan, and at first I was infuriated by the laziness of the designers, but since then, I've sort of warmed up to it, especially after playing through with Tali as my LI), I still feel like it was a last-minute thing where the devs suddenly remembered, "Oh f*ck!  We forgot to put in something with Tali's face!  If we don't do something, the fans will have our heads on platters!  Quick, someone log on to GettyImages and see if we can find something that we can 'shop quick and dirty."  Pretty shabby, when you really think about it.
