Did ME3 ending kill series replayability completely?

Fantastic series of games, but the whole thing is based around the choices you make- so why even bother playing if they ultimately boil down to three (identical) plothole filled colors?

You'd think with all the negative feedback about the endings they'd at least say something, all there doing by staying silent is letting us know that they don't give a F$*k and only care about the cash we dished out to pre-order the game + shipping, I feel like I've been cheated out of endings that should have been there.....an I mean Good endings not confusing, plot-hole riddled, doesn't matter what you did in the other games Ending....seriously BioWare what where you thinking making an ending like that ? That we'd buy a *Better Ending DLC* ? if that's the case then you just lost most your fan-base/profits.....

Umpteenth ridiculous thread. Those choices you made in the past matter in determining whether or not certain characters live or died and your ongoing relationships with them, not to mention things that appear only in an abstract sense (like fleet strength and the level of goodwill towards humanity based on whether or not you saved the Council - and I remember that from a Codex entry). That the endings, unfortunately, don't give you much variation doesn't mean that everything else didn't matter, and it clearly did/does, given that some people will see Corad live or die depending on what they did in ME1.
OK, I should clarify something here. I don't regret playing through the ME series - I had fun in the process and felt enriched by the three games. However, from the standpoint of "I will replay all three games again for the 10th time to see a different outcome", the endings really did kill the replayability for me.

I can't bring myself to play ME3 or any ME game now.
Exactly that.
On a slightly less related note: I do wish there was a happy ending with LI, seeing Liara smile in that flashback is so heartbreaking. But I would settle just for an ending that makes sense, even if it has to be bittersweet/sad/deep/artistic or whatever. But the blue children ... *sigh*

Okay, maybe I will... But if so, won't be in the immediate future, that's for sure. And I'll pretend that ME3 doesn't exist while doing so

No, considering there are people on this site that won't touch the game ever again because of the endings I am asking them literally what the heck is wrong with them.AtreiyaN7 wrote...
Which is all well and good, but maybe you should have stated it in such a way in the first place instead of making it sound as if the endings rendered everything you did meaningless and all actions moot (which is what most of the people who write something like that imply).
