Yup, not only killed did they kill my desire to play anymore Mass Effect, but now every time I think of Mass Effect I think of Linkin Park, because in the end it doesn't even matter.

I thought at first it had been totally killed. I did manage to start a second play through but I have no where near the enthusiasm and the only thing that keep me going in to see the Liara romance for myself and that's mostly because of the perfect VO's of Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis. The only reason I will bother to complete the ending on this playthrough is in the likely vain hope that Bioware will fix the endings. So basically the replayability is on life support, waiting for a miracle cure to save the day.

I want to replay them. I want to do a more renegade playthrough and romance Miranda. I want to do another paragon playthrough and romance Liara. In addition, I'll probably want to do a third paragon playthrough with Tali, to make it exactly as I want it.

However, knowing how it ends ( or rather, not knowing )... you know, I'm just not up for it. I might, a few years down the line, but then again .. why would I?

I wracked my brain trying to figure out what saving or destroying Kasumi's greybox might do, then I play ME3 and find out that it really DOESN'T MATTER. I had two different playthroughs just in case, looks like I wasted my time. We never even got to see the Rachni help fight the Reapers if we saved them. Replayability has been crushed, not to mention that the ME3 ending makes every significant event in ME1 and ME2 not...well, significant anymore. It depresses me.

It did for a while. Then I wrote my own ending and it was k. Still, I shouldn't have to re-write the ending of a game to get enjoyment out of it.

It will be a year before I play it again at least. I'm having more fun playing through Alan Wake's American Nightmare right now.

Got to the "Attack Cerberus" mission in my second play thru, Every time I start the mission I remember how it ends and close the game down... To depressing to relive a second time.

Hold The Line!

Replay value = 0
Yes, ME... is dead.
Hope BW will listen.
Hope there is a better solution to all this harassment.
They continue to play mute forever and change nothing = Goodbye, BioWare.

To be fair, the Suicide Mission in ME2 was stupid also. I replayed ME2 not for the ending, but for the game itself. The same goes for ME3, though I'm still only on my second playthrough.

My replays were always the same.

The journey is written, but not the destination. Fate will always rear its ugly head, but how you get to it is infathomable.

What an absolute pathetic excuse for having 1 ending with 3  colors.

yup, killed a lot of my replayability. Still playing it, but more like on and off. Never happened with any other Bioware game I've played. ME3's ending was the first. Still love the series, just hate the ending like the rest of 95% of ME fans.

ME2 had replay value, because of ME3 promise.
ME3 killed ALL the replay values.

It's really hard to see characters like Wrex and Tali talk about the future when you know what their ultimate fates are.

You know you ****ed you something fierce when the last five minutes of your third games ripples back and destroys the previous two entries.

ME1 did have replay value for me until ME2 came out (really showed up ME1s issues with gameplay etc)

ME2 i must have played it over 20 times at least.

ME3 the ending has put me off and going through the story very slowly (still on my second play through which when I got ME2 i was on the end of my 3rd play through or just started my 4th by now)

But I wont say its killed replay value rather damaged. (i.e. stop at ending or just put up with it)

Well, I'm certainly not rushing to import my various other Shepards to see how things play out.

I'll probably replay ME1-3 again some day. Later. Much, much later.

Whilst I'd somewhat agree with that (peekaboo reaper hooray?), it at least had the feeling, to me, of satisfaction. Of feeling like I'd walked my team into hell and accomplished something together.

ME3's endings just left me feeling empty and confused.

It's like having a perfect marriage for 50 years ending in your own castration.

And then people tell you to stop complaining and just remember the 50 years.

Totally. 5 days since completion i'm starting to wind down from being pissed off, I've reached something like acceptance but for me this is the part that lingers. I've got multiple Sheps, they are all very different and I was looking forward to playing them all but I simply can't. I hold that the ending simply invalidates their career and erases any choice they ever made, any relationship they built, just squashes it. So why would I go through it again knowing that no matter what I do, I'm destined for ending wherein I will betray my principles in a spectacular way and the self determination that marked the entire trilogy gets crushed via Deus Ex Machina.

I'll buy that. Part of the reason I played the first two games  so many times was because I wanted to see all the different resolutions in the third game. And there is still some stuff that is resolved differently depending on your choices, but oftentimes it amounts to a different character in a cutscene saying pretty much the same thing as the missing character, there isn't nearly as much exclusive content, based on your choices, than I had imagined there would be. I guess I figured because they didn't have to worry about continuity with another game, the endings would be wildly divergent. I guess I figured wrong. I do still think that there's a lot of quality content in the game, it just dries up as soon as Shepard steps into the energy beam in London.

I haven't written off the series entirely no, but at the same time there is no real desire to replay any of the games at the momment.

I remember starting countless replays immediately after finishing the first two...but this time 3 just left me feeling...meh.

That's not exactly an irrational conclusion, given that they'd declared the endings would involve precisely that prior to release.
