It killed the idea that there are other Shepards out there. I have three, but can't play the other two for some reason. And I won't be replaying Novinha for awhile. It's just too sad.

Also, if you all hate Bioware so much now, why do you even bother posting in a forum made for Bioware FANS?

It did for me.  i can't face Mass Effect any more.  What is the point of playing again when no matter what I will get the same ending that leaves me feeling depressed.  That is also why I will not be buying DLC,becaus eI know unless the ending is changed I will never touch the game again.

Hold the line people.

Yes for me the ending killed all chances of replaying the game, heck even the trilogy got so hurt that i got no interest in playing it.

Honestly, I loved the series, and Mass Effect 3 was incredible; up till the absolutely terrible ending which smashed any and all motivation I had of playing any of my other Shepards to experience their stories. Now I just play the Multiplayer, but yes, the single player replayability is non-existent for me at this point.

Total trainwreck. I had three sheppards ready to go. With the current ending I won't play again, and that's a big departure after beating ME1 and ME2 multiple times, having a HD crash that erased my files and then playing them AGAIN for my current Femshep count.

I haven't seen a game ending fail this big since FF7. And this feels much, much, much worse and personal. Just so the bloated egos of a few of the Dev team could pat themselves on the back.

My Collector's Edition lies down in the cabinet, because even look at it is painfull for me.. I can't play ANY of ME games, so YES - I will hold the line!! (but I'm not from "english speaking country", so I can't write essays here, sorry for that)...

I hope, that official statement of Chris Priestly is some kind of promise, that they won't ignore us and gave us what we deserve...
Its true, that our presence here seems to be reduced, but I think, that if they eventualy don't come with new ending, "flames of war" will be burning again!

(again, sorry for my english)

YES.

It ruined Mass Effect entirely for me. And I had 5 different shepards to choose from...what a waste.

Game is barely a week old and it is retired.

Because we used to be/still are fans, and this is one of the more convenient places for our voices to be heard by other fans, old and new, and BioWare themselves. Most of us ARE still fans of the series, just not the endings. A fan doesn't have to like everything that happens with a company or a game or a story.

How passionate we are just goes to show just how much we are fans, and just how much we do care about the Mass Effect universe.

On Topic: I dunno. It hasn't RUINED replayability, but I was stunned and couldn't even bother to start up the game for a couple of days after I finished it. I'm slowly working through a second playthrough, but it just doesn't have the same pull, because I know completing the game again isn't going to be nearly as much of a rush or believably awesome experience like the first two games were.

No. 5 minutes of stupidity aren't enough to ruin the series. Especially since I can just turn off the console after the the TIM confrontation and imagine that the Crucible went off without issue.

As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best games I've ever played, despite the stupid ending.

yeah that is what I find hardest to believe.  I figured that i would be stuck trying to get all the endings in ME3 all summer instead after one week i have lost all interest in the inter series, sad.

I had 3 Commander Shepards and was working on a 4th one when ME3 came out. I tried to start up a second play through, because really the rest of the game was awesome, but as soon as I gained control I couldn't do it.

I have nothing against endings that are sad, depressing, dark, bitter sweet, or even HAPPY. All I want is an ending that gives closure and with a game like Mass Effect 3 I was really expecting the ending to reflect all of my choices in the end like BioWare promised. Instead I ended up with an ending (yes, singular because if you play all the endings side by side they are hardly distinguishable) that left me unfulfilled; more questions than answers, no closure with my actions or the characters, NOTHING. Where is my big finale that will cap off Commander Shepard's journey? Where are my 16 distinct endings that will reflect whether I was a Paragon, Renegade, Selfless, Selfish, Lover, Hater, Diplomat, Fighter, Martyr, etc.?

And because I know how the game ends no matter what I just don't feel like I should pick up the series again... at least not for a very long time.

Tried to restart from the first during this week, couldn't go through feros, felt worthless. Never touched the third after seeing all space magic colors.

No. Unless I create a super-masochistic Renegade Shepard who wants to kill everyone, anyway. But I don't really want to do that.

I'm currently doing an infiltrator play through. I think I will do one more after that with a vanguard but that will be all. It gets uninstalled after that and I go back to Skyrim and TF2.

And I'm stopping right before I go to Earth.

A good game remains good and I will definitely replay it in the future, since I never really start a new game right after I finished one, cause I would just end up tossing it aside after a few hours. Probably do a whole series run through and should nothing have changed just watch some television when the spooky kid starts rambling about his 3 unmotivated, unconcluded and Shepard-gets-the-short-end-of-the-stick options, doesn't the guy deserve a break? or at least a satisfying reason to kick the bucket?

Yep. Multiplayer is still fun, but I have no desire to play through all three games, or even bring over my "evil" shepard. My original plan was once all three were out, to play all of them in one big sit through making perfect choices.

This is my biggest gripe. Zero motivation to play again. I don't do the whole MP thing, so SP is it. It was way too expensive for a game that is only playable once.

I began again with my femshep, but couldn't do much it feels pointless.

And i have at least 6 characters ready to go. I won't do it, it is far too depressing, knowing how it turns.

Completely ruins any replay value of all three game for me. I have 9 other different Shappards that I took through ME1/ME2, and I have desire too take them through ME3 because of my first playthrough. Ending to ruins 5 years of story gameplay which I had 300+ hours invested in across the trilogy.
